John Estrada is set to top-bill his third project with GMA-7.

He will be paired again with Carmina Villarroel in a still-untitled afternoon series.

A story conference was held last November 26.

John and Carmina, who first worked with each othet in the ABS-CBN sitcom Palibhasa Lalake, played a married couple in the defunct GMA-7 teleserye Kara Mia.

Apart from John and Carmina, the show will also be top-billed by Kambal, Karibal actress Pauline Mendoza, who gets her big break via this drama series.

Kristoffer Martin, Dave Bornea, and David Licauco are part of the cast.

StarStruck season 6 finalist Liezel Lopez will play her first major role in this Kapuso teleserye.

This will be the first time that John will be part of a GMA-7 afternoon series after he signed a per-program contract with the Kapuso network in 2018.

His past projects in GMA-7 include the prime-time shows Victor Magtanggol and Kara Mia.

In ABS-CBN, John did an afternoon series only once, which was the short-lived teleserye Walang Iwanan in 2015.

The upcoming Kapuso teleserye is also Carmina's comeback in the afternoon block of GMA-7.

Her first and last afternoon series in GMA-7 was the 2011 series Pahiram ng Isang Ina. It was also her last TV project with GMA-7 before she transferred to ABS-CBN in late 2011.

In ABS-CBN, Carmina was able to do three afternoon shows: Recuerdo de Amor (2002), May Isang Pangarap (2013), and her last Kapamilya project, Doble Kara (2015 to 2017).
