Anntonia Porsild of Thailand wins Miss Supranational 2019.
Porsild bested 76 other candidates from countries around the world during the pageant's grand coronation held at International Congress Center in Katowice, Poland, Friday night, December 6 (Saturday morning, December 7, Philippine time).
Valeria Vazquez Latorre of Puerto Rico relinquished her crown to Porslid.
The other winners are: Yana Haenisch of Namibia, 1st runner-up; Jesica Fitriana of Indonesia, 2nd runner-up; Janick Maceta Del Castillo of Peru, 3rd runner-up; and Gabriela De La Cruz of Venezuela, 4th runner-up.
Completing the top 10 finalists are Miss Czech Republic Hana Vágnerová, Miss Colombia Yaiselle Tous, Miss Panama Krysthelle Barretto, Miss USA Regina Gray, and Miss Vietnam Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau.
Philippine bet Resham Ramirez Saeed made it to the top 25 semifinalists.
Joining her are Miss Argentina Avril Marco, Miss Cameroon Angèle Kossinda, Miss Dominican Republic Yaliza Burgos, Miss Guatemala Andrea Radford, Miss Netherlands Nathalie Yasmin Mogbelzada, Miss India Shefali Sood, Miss Ireland Jessica VanGaalen, Miss Iceland Hugrún Birta Egilsdótti, Miss Mexico Dariana Urista, Miss New Zealand Eva Louise Wilson, Miss Poland Kamila Swierc, Miss Puerto Rico Shaleyka Vélez, Miss Singapore Naomi Huth, and Miss Trinidad & Tobago Yia-Loren Gomez.
Special awards were also given during the pageant.
Miss Finland Viivi Altonen was hailed Miss Photogenic.
Miss Netherlands Nathalie Yasmin Mogbelzada took home the Miss Elegance award.
Miss Mexico Dariana Urista won the award for Best in National Costume.
Miss Singapore Naomi Huth was named Miss Talent.
Resham was hoping to win the Philippines’ second Miss Supranational crown after Mutya Datul won the title in 2013.
The 25-year-old Pakistani-Filipino model-host brought her advocacy on gender equality and women empowerment to the pageant.
