The full trailer of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil's comeback teleserye, Make It With You, was released last Wednesday, December 18, 2019.

Shot in Croatia, this teleserye begins by showing Enrique's character, Gabo, as a homeless man.

He tries to find odd jobs and even competes with other homeless people for food, until he meets Liza's character, Belinda aka Billie.

Apparently, Billie is a con-artist who dates men to earn money.

Billie forms a relationship with Gabo after Billie's lady friend showed interest in Gabo. The friend asks Billie to set her up on a date with Gabo in exchange for money.

Billie also lets Gabo live in her house, where their romance blossoms.

The Make It With You trailer also shows Liza's new look, which can be compared to Thalia's curls in her '90s shows MariMar and Maria la del Barrio.

But then, at the end of the trailer, Enrique's character seemed to have discovered that Liza's character is a con-artist when he told her, "Anong klaseng tao ka? Manloloko, mandurugas!"

Liza then answered, "Hindi mo ako kilala."

Pinoy Big Brother Otso fifth big placer Fumiya Sankai and actress Katya Santos are also part of the drama series.

Make It With You, which is produced by Star Creatives unit under ABS-CBN's Scripted Format department, is expected to air in early 2020.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and Richard Arellano, the show is LizQuen's follow-up TV series after the much-talked about 2018 series Bagani and their 2019 movie Alone/Together.

It is also one of the projects that came after Liza decided to back out of the role of Darna early this year.

Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina explained why they chose to shoot some of the scenes in Croatia.

“In the story, kailangan naming ng isang bansa na malayo ang Pilipinas at kakaunti ang Pilipino,” said Direk Cathy in a video uploaded by Star Creatives.

“Through research, napag-alaman na dito sa Croatia, sobrang kaunti ng Pinoy. To keep to its truth, dito tayo nagpunta. It’s something new to the Filipinos also… We need it for the story.

“We want to give you something that you will enjoy every night, but at the end of the day, we want to tell you something of good moral obligation."

This project marks the reunion of the LizQuen love team with Direk Cathy. They previously worked with each other for the 2017 Star Cinema movie My Ex and Whys. Direk Cathy also helmed their Kapamilya teleseryes Forevermore and Dolce Amore.

Former Pinoy Big Brother: Otso housemate Fumiya Sankai joined Liza and Enrique while shooting Make It With You in Croatia.
