Four female graduates of GMA-7's defunct youth-oriented series, Click, reunited 16 years after the show concluded.
Click cast members Chynna Ortaleza, Tricia Roman, and Maybelyn dela Cruz taped for a guest appearance in the Kapuso morning talk show Mars Pa More. The latter show is hosted by another Click cast member, Iya Villania.
Coincidentally, Iya's Mars Pa More co-host, Camille Prats, is a cast member of Click's rival program, G-Mik.
Chynna posted a photo of their reunion episode on Instagram yesterday, February 19.
She wrote in the caption, "Napakasaya! [heart icon] Sydney, Mimi, Roni, Issa at Rosario! Abangan niyo yan sa @marspamore SOON! #clickbarkada"
The names listed in Chynna's caption are the character names of the actresses present in the reunion.
Iya played Sydney, Chynna portrayed Mimi, Tricia was Issa, and Maybelyn was Rosario in Click.
Meanwhile, Camille played the role of Roni in G-Mik.
A portion of Chynna's caption goes: "Uy... May naiiba! Hahahahahaha," referring to Camille's inclusion in the reunion.
According to Chynna, the reunion episode is set to air in March 2020.
CLICK and G-MIK
Click aired on GMA-7 from December 1999 to July 2004.
The youth-oriented program replaced GMA-7 and VIVA TV's iconic teen show, TGIS.
The original cast of Click included Maybelyn, Tricia, with Roxanne Barcelo, Biboy Ramirez, James Blanco, Trina Zuniga, and Angelika dela Cruz.
More Kapuso discoveries joined the show that featured four batches. Chynna, Alessandra de Rossi, Sherwin Ordonez, Valerie Concepcion, Jake Cuenca, JC De Vera, Richard Gutierrez, and Angel Locsin were among the cast members of the show.
At present, both Tricia and Maybelyn are not active anymore in showbiz.
Among the Click stars, Jake, JC, Richard, and Angel are now with ABS-CBN.
Click served as the rival program of G-Mik, which started airing in February 1999.
Camille's co-stars in G-Mik include Angelica Panganiban, Heart Evangelista, John Prats, and Carlo Aquino.
At present, Camille and Heart are now with the Kapuso network.
