Lifestyle blogger Cat Arambulo-Antonio (extreme left) gets celebrities (after Cat, L-R) Agot Isidro, Juan Miguel Severo, and Inah de Belen fuming for her "insensitive" and "anti-poor" comments and curses. Cat apologized. But netizens remained offended by her sorry-but-not-sorry post.

Sabi ni Cat (published as is, but for expletives set in asterisks):

"My god, why don't you motherf**k*rs just stay at home? Stay at home! Don't you guys get it?

"Tigas ng ulo. This is exactly why they need the military because you f*ck*rs won't stay at home. Guys come on!"

Diin niya: "Our hospitals are collapsing.

"Nakakaawa yung mga frontliners or health workers. There's not enough supplies, not enough beds.

"So just behave, guys! Listen!"'

TRIGGERED CELEBS

Patutsada ni Agot sa antas sa buhay ni Cat (published as is): "You, sitting in your lululemons, cursing at daily wage earners for desperately going to work or going home to feed their families...

"SHUT YOUR TRAP, you insensitive, pathetic excuse for a human being, who’s only after frivolous, fake likes and followers."

JUAN MIGUEL SEVERO

"Log out na muna. Seething with anger. Nasaid na nung Cat 'these motherf*ckers' Arambulo 'yung pasensya ko today.

"Trolls I can shake off. But rich influencers who espouse stupidity and anti-poor statements like that? No, ma'am.

"Buy a brain and turn to page class analysis. Bye."

ALEX GONZAGA

Tweet ni Alex (published as is): "I hope some people will find empathy towards our kababayan who has no choice but to go to work for their families.

"I hope the government can address this issue and help them financially so they can stay at home knowing they can still survive."

backgrounder: the covid-19 pandemic

Exemption to the rule ang mga manggagawa at empleyadong walang option na mag-work from home o mag-leave sa kanilang trabaho.

Sabi ni Cat: "Guys, I'm really, really sorry to have to take it out to social media.

"But that outburst was a reflection of how I really feel to people not listening to the government.

"At this point in time, like, honestly, people really need to lockdown and contain the virus.

"I'm not referring to frontliners that need to get to work.

"What I'm saying is there are people that are pasaway and not following."

"I mean, honestly, everyone's affected right now. And the only way we can contain this is by staying home.

"And it's so sad because we don't have enough hospital beds.

"We don't have enough frontliners out there who actually help everyone else out there that are in need. I mean, our hospitals can collapse.

"So I mean, for me, the real purpose of that message was directed to people who aren't listening.

"Please, I sincerely apologize if people were affected because, honestly, right now, is really a state of panic."

"And I'm sorry I curse a lot also and I say a lot of foul words. I'm sorry kung maraming na-hurt dun.

"But honestly talaga, at this point, we just really need to obey and try to help each other alleviate ourselves from this pandemic.

"People being out there is not getting any better."

Dagdag ni Cat, "Ang mali ko talaga was I was just too honest and too brutally blunt with my words at a sensitive time like this, which is really the way I am.

"So, I am sorry."

SORRY but NOT SORRY?

"Sweetie you are so out of touch," aniya.

Sabi pa ng ibang netizens (published as is except for expletives): "cat arambulo called workers struggling to commute 'motherf*ck*ers' that 'won't follow the government' and 'won't just stay at home'/ this is her 'apology' and it doesn't even sound like one; she refuses to acknowledge the conditions why those people had to go to work..."
