Isa na namang duktor ang pumanaw sa pakikipaglaban sa COVID-19 pandemic.
Ngayong hapon ng Lunes, April 6, inanunsiyo ng Asian Hospital and Medical Center na may isa silang doktor na binawian ng buhay dahil sa COVID-19.
Siya ay si Dr. Mary Grace Lim, 40 years old.
Ayon sa official Facebook page ng Asian Hospital:
“Sorrow befalls upon our hospital as we have lost one of our own in the fight against this pandemic, Dr. Mary Grace Lim.
“We honor her as a great patient safety advocate who was an instrument in sealing the deal of our third Joint Commission International Reaccreditation.
“She has affected and helped countless lives in her wonderful journey in Asian Hospital and Medical Center.”
Nakikidalahamti rin ang pamunuan ng Asian Hospital sa mga kamag-anak at kakilala ni Dr. Lim.
“Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to the family of our fallen hero.
“We have lost a remarkable doctor, a good friend, and mentor to our budding health care workers.
“Asian Hospital, especially the Department of Emergency Medicine and Quality Management Department may have lost a great frontliner to COVID-19, but as one family, we promise her and our countrymen, now more than ever, that we will remain unfazed and will keep on fighting to finally put an end to this pandemic."
Sinabi pa ng ospital sa Facebook post nito: “Today, heaven welcomes another angel who willingly risked her life to help save others.
“As one community, let us all offer a moment of silence for the eternal repose of her soul.
“We love you, Dr. Grace!”
Sa May 20 ay ipagdiriwang sana ni Dr. Lim ang kanyang ika-41 kaarawan.
Sa tala ng Philippine Medical Association (PMA), may lagpas sampung doktor na ang pumanaw dahil sa COVID-19.
PH COVID-19 POSITIVE CASES
Sa bagong bulletin ng Department of Health (DOH) ngayong Lunes ng hapon, nakapagtala ang kagawaran ng 414 bagong COVID-19 positive cases..
May kabuuang 3,600 COVID-19 positive cases na sa Pilipinas.
Nakalagay sa post ng DOH: “As of 4PM today, the Department of Health reports 414 new cases (PH3,247-PH3,660) of COVID-19.
“Total number of cases in the country is now at 3,660.
“DOH also reports 9 additional recoveries which brings the total number of recoveries to 73.”
May 11 new deaths naman, kaya umabot na ang kabuuang bilang sa 163.
