Remember when Kathryn Bernardo played the young Marian Rivera in a GMA-7 series?
This happened in 2010, when Kathryn was tapped to play the younger version of the lead female character in Endless Love.
Endless Love is a remake of the Korean drama starring Song Hye Kyo, who played the role of Jenny.
Marian played Jenny in the Philippine version, with Kathryn as the younger Jenny.
Dingdong Dantes was Marian's leading man in the show. His teenage counterpart was played by Kristoffer Martin.
Interestingly, Kathryn is also one of the few talents of Star Magic, ABS-CBN's talent arm, who had the chance to star in GMA-7's shows.
In fact, when Endless Love aired its pilot episode on June 28, 2010, she was also seen on ABS-CBN's series Magkaribal, where she portrayed the role of young Gretchen Barretto
Kathryn was offered a contract by GMA Artist Center after her participation in Endless Love, but she decided to return to ABS-CBN, where she eventually became one of its prized teen stars.
Fast forward to 2020, Kathryn and Marian remain friends, and, from time to time, exchange pleasantries through comments on social media.
MARIAN RIVERA AND HER PAST CHARACTERS
On Instagram today, March 15, Marian takes a trip down memory lane, and remembers her past TV characters.
The post includes the shows she top-billed on prime time: MariMar (2007-2008), Dyesebel (2008), Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang (2009), Darna (2009-2010), Endless Love (2010), Amaya (2011-2012), My Beloved (2012), Temptation of Wife (2012-2013), Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw (2014), and Super Ma'am (2017).
She writes in the caption, "Every soap that I did is special and truly memorable for me."
Marian then asks her followers: "How about you? Alin dito ang namimiss niyo at gusto panuorin ulit? Let me know your faves in the comments section!"

Kathryn is one of the first people to leave three heart eyes emojis on Marian's post.

Marian's followers are immediately reminded that Kathryn portrayed the young Jenny in Endless Love.
