Maraming aral na natutunan at realizations si KC Concepcion sa gitna ng enforced quarantine na ipinatutupad dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.
Sa eksklusibong panayam niya sa Cinema News At Home Edition hosted by Bianca Gonzalez, na ipinalabas sa Cinema One noong June 12, inamin ni KC na napagtanto niya ang kagustuhang mahanap ang kanyang Mr. Right na makakasama niyang bumuo ng pamilya.
“It was part of my prayer,” sabi ng 35-year-old actress.
“Sabi ko, ‘God, why am I one of those girls na never dreamt of my dream wedding, I never dreamt of getting married?’
“I never had that. I prayed for that.
“Sabi ko, ‘God, whatever it takes, can You please give me a reason why should I get married? Give me a reason for family. I just want to feel why, why is it important?’
“Now I know. Now answered prayer siya, in a way.
“There are times I wish I had a kid. I wish already someone with me.
“I could serve them and wake up and just be there for them.
“But I see my friends who have kids and their families.
“That's also a different thing. Different stressors.
“We're all given our different cards to deal with.”
KC’S IDEAL HUSBAND
Inisa-isa rin ni KC ang mga katangian ng lalaking gusto niyang makasama sa buhay.
“Someone established, someone who will provide.
“You can be with a good person, but if they don't know how to provide, that's hard.
“That's also something that you can argue about.
“Definitely, I'll pray for that.”
Binigyang linaw rin ni KC ang balitang pagkakamabutihan nila ng The Voice mentor at The Black Eyed Peas member na si apl.de.ap.
Ayon sa anak nina Sharon Cuneta at Gabby Concepcion, “Naririnig ko nga, mga tinatanong ng mga tao puro apl.de.ap.
“Naging close talaga kami ng Black Eyed Peas, parang natutuwa lang kami sa isa't isa, yung group saka ako.
“Kaya nga puro apl.de.ap nang apl.de.ap ang mga tao.
“Okay naman siya, mabait naman siya. Nagkakasundo naman kami.”
Pero diin ni KC, “I'm single, wala naman akong boyfriend at all.”
Pagbibiro pa ni KC, minsan ay naiisip na rin niya ang mga dating apps dahil baka dito niya matagpuan ang kanyang Mr. Right.
“Sabi ko nga, try ko kayang mag-Tinder or MatchMaker.
“Gusto ko tumawag sa MatchMaker sa New York. Mga millionaire Matchmaker, ‘Sali kaya ako? Try ko nga?’
“Siyempre natakot din ako!” natatawang biro niya.
KC’S REALIZATIONS
Bukod sa nabuksan ang isip sa pagnanais magkaroon ng partner in life, ibinahagi rin ni KC ang iba pa niyang realizations dahil sa lockdown.
“I'm probably a lot more focused now.
“When this happened, you realize time is all you have.
“We forget that we don't have all the time in the world.
“I think, most definitely, I am more focused in a way where I will just not take anything for granted.
“I think, after this, I would like to settle down somehow and not be so scared of that.
“To pray for the right man to come.”
Patuloy niya, “Also, on a lighter note, just do it.
“There are so many things we want to do. ‘I wanna do this, I wanna do that…’
“At some point, you just say, just do it. Parang now, just do it.
“Just go ahead and make it happen.
“It’s more of focus, not taking anything or anyone for granted.
“And a little quiet on the inside too.”
