Remember ABS-CBN’s all-male dance group, Giggerboys?
Giggerboys was composed of Robi Domingo, Enchong Dee, Arron Villaflor, Dino Imperial, Chris Gutierrez, Sam Concepcion, and the late AJ Perez.
Formed in early 2009, the dance group had their own ASAP segment, and also top-billed the remake of the 1981 movie Boystown, which was part of ABS-CBN weekly series Your Song.
On August 18, 2020, Robi took a trip down memory lane when he posted a throwback photo of Giggerboys on Instagram.
Present in the photo were Robi, AJ, Enchong, Arron, Chris, Sam, and singer Ronnie Liang.
Robi’s caption only indicated that the photo was taken in 2009.
According to one comment, the photo was taken during the Star Magic tour in Ontario, California.
Also in the comments section, Robi had a short conversation with writer-influencer G3 San Diego about his dance skills.
G3 recalled that she used to call Robi a “grasshopper,” but his dancing skills improved eventually.
Robi also remembered being called a “niyuyugyog na halaman.”
Maymay Entrata also left a comment in the post, calling Robi “tito.”

Giggerboys disbanded in 2011 when its members decided to take on different paths for their careers.
Dino was first, as he left both Giggerboys and Star Magic to sign with VIVA Artists Agency.
Enchong focused on becoming a dramatic leading man.
Robi concentrated on his hosting career, while Arron did more acting projects.
Sam balanced his music career with acting projects, and Chris decided to leave show business.
AJ was also being groomed as a leading man.
However, on April 17, 2011, he was killed in a car accident after a mall show in Dagupan, Pangasinan.
At present, Enchong, Robi, Dino, Arron, and Sam remain active in show business.
Enchong and Robi still regularly perform in ASAP.
