Sinagot ni Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla ang tanong ng ilang netizens tungkol sa pagkakaroon niya ng administrator o ghost writer sa kanyang official Facebook page.
Naglabas ng mahabang pahayag ang pulitiko sa kanyang Facebook post ngayong araw ng Lunes, October 19, 2020.
Mariing itinanggi ni Governor Remulla ang ispekulasyong "ghost writer" niya si Macoy Dubs, isang social media content creator.
Hindi man niya tuwirang tinukoy ang Cabinet Files column sa PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), tila bahagi ng sipi sa nasabing artikulo ang kanyang binigyang paliwanag.
QUICK BACKTRACK
Ang artikulo ay pinamagatang "Bakit nag-appear si Macoy Dubs sa Facebook feed ni Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla?"
Lumabas ito noong October 17, tatlong araw matapos nangyari ang biglaang paglitaw ni Macoy Dubs sa Facebook Live ng provincial chief executive.
Nanghinala tuloy ang netizens na baka raw si Macoy ang nagsusulat ng witty posts at content sa Facebook page ni Remulla.
Bahagi ng Facebook post ni Governor Remulla ngayong araw:
"However, in the spirit of good banter I would like to re-publish here a few of the interesting highlights that were discussed in the said article:
"Si Macoy Dubs nga ba ang ‘ghostwriter’ ni Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla at administrator ng Official Facebook Account nito?
"Matagal nang pinaghihinalaang may admin ang Facebook page ni Gov at may ghostwriter ito dahil sa kanyang mga witty posts at responses sa mga followers niya.
"Malayong malayo ang mga post and replies ni Remulla sa personalidad niyang seryoso, na siyang nakikita sa kanyang live interviews.”
"Very millennial ang mga posts ni Gov."
REMULLA: NO GHOST WRITER
Kasunod nito, naglista si Governor Remulla ng anim na puntos para patunayang tanging siya ang may hawak ng kanyang Facebook page.
Giit niya, siya raw ang nagsusulat ng lahat ng kanyang posts.
Bahagi ng paliwanag ni Remulla (published as is):
"Allow me to put the facts ON RECORD:
"1. Ako at AKO lamang ang nagsusulat ng aking mga post at mga sagot dito. Actually, ito ay kayang patunayan ng mga taong matagal nang sumusubaybay sa akin since my page started from zero.
"FB is a means for me to be able to communicate better and more efficiently with my constituents (esp. for updates on the COVID-19 situation).
"2. Ako at AKO lamang din po ang nag-iisip at nagsusulat ng mga topic na nababasa ninyo.
"Minsan, ang aking soundboard ay ang aking misis [Dr. Agnes Tirona] na siyang nagpapayo tungkol sa 'matters of science' lalo na pagdating sa pandemya."
Nilinaw din ni Governor Remulla na hindi raw sila magkakilala ni Macoy.
"3. Wala akong isyu with Macoy Dubs. Sadly, we have never met much less hired him to write nor create content.
"That said, it is my sincere hope that people would stop bashing him. Each and every one of us have our own trials and tribulations to take care of.
"Being kind in times of trouble does not cost a thing. Let’s be generous with kindness and try to make the world a better place for all."
Sa mga kumukuwestiyon raw ng kanyang mga kuwelang hirit sa Facebook, sinabi ng gobernador na likas siyang mapagbiro.
Kung naging seryoso raw siya sa kanyang mga panayam sa radyo at telebisyon, ito ay dahil tungkol sa kanyang pamumuno sa probinsiya ng Cavite ang tinatalakay doon.
"4. My job is to lead the province as competently as I can. If you think my being overly jocular (mapagbiro at mahilig sa kalokohan) takes precedence, it is because that’s the only way I know how to write. I also believe that being playful helps lighten things up a bit.

“MY WRITING MUST BE IMPRESSIVE”
Hindi raw pinepersonal ni Governor Remulla ang mga nagdududa sa kanya.
Ang ispekulasyong mayroon siyang ghost writer na namamahala sa kanyang Facebook ay nangangahulugang “impressive” ang kanyang writing skills.
Sabi pa Governor Remulla: "Wala po akong galit o sama ng loob sa mga bashers at doubters. The mere fact that my thoughts matter and what I write affects them is indeed, the sincerest form of flattery.
"The gossip about me having a 'ghostwriter' or 'content creator' means that my writing must be impressive enough, for such naysayers to wallow in doubt.
"I stand by everything I write. I mean everything I say.”
May paliwanag naman siya kung bakit apat na araw muna ang lumipas bago siya naglabas ng kanyang pahayag ukol sa isyu.
Dire-diretsong lahad niya: "Nangyari ito last Thursday, October 15 mga bandang 4PM.
"Agad naman nai-secure itong account. No harm done.
"While I was alerted immediately regarding the incident, sa totoo lang ay hindi ko ito masyadong binigyan pansin dahil parang wala naman katuturan ang nangyari.
"Sorry naman pero hindi biro ang kinakaharap ng lalawigan na pagsubok sa panahon ng pandemya. Kaya’t pasensya na po kung yang maliliit na bagay ay pinalalagpas ko lang.
"Ika nga ng titulo ng huling post: PRIORITIES.
"I am duty-bound to make people’s lives better by preparing a RECOVERY plan which the province badly needs.
"And I would rather spend time by doing productive pursuits, focusing on priority programs and whatever needs to be done for Caviteños in order to survive and eventually, thrive.

TECHNICAL GLITCH
Noong October 15, una nang naglabas si Macoy ng opisyal na pahayag sa kanyang Twitter account.
Sabi niya sa kanyang post, "Mga bessy if nakita niyo po ako sa FB live ni Jonvic Remulla, please, please understand na nagkaroon lang ng error.
"It was supposed to be a run-through for a content creators event this Sunday.
"We’re fixing and figuring out papaano nangyari yun. ZOOM must be really secured."
Pati na ang events, PR, at music marketing company na Gabi Na Naman Production ay naglabas din ng pahayag, at sinegundahan ang sinabi ni Macoy na "technical glitch" ang nangyaring aberya.
Bahagi ng statement: "Gabi Na Naman Productions is extending its sincerest apologies to our event host, Mark Averilla also known sa Macoy Dubs, for the technical glitch that happened this afternoon, around 4:00 pm (October 15), during an online run for a client’s virtual event on Sunday, October 18.
"Our streaming partner, CSG Photography, encountered an error during the streaming of Macoy Dub’s rehearsal.
"In effect, Macoy Dubs appeared erroneously on Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla’s Facebook account, one of CSG’s clients.
"As the managing group of the online event, our team takes responsibility of the system error that occurred today.
"Rest assured that moving forward, we will be more cautious in handling these matters.”
