GMA-7 actress Glaiza de Castro unleashed her inner fangirl on Instagram when she sent a message to Lucas Bravo, the French chef in the hit Netflix glitzy series Emily in Paris.
Imagine Glaiza's surprise when Lucas replied to her message after five hours.
Last Sunday, October 25, she tweeted a screenshot of their exchange on Instagram with the caption, "O.M.G."
Glaiza to her latest dreamboat, "You're so good in Emily in Paris!"
Lucas responded with love: "Thank you so much. You're so kind! Sending you love [emojis]"
A Twitter user with the handlename @glairepsalm1 reacted to Glaiza's post, "Wala nang pila pila may nauna na HAHAHAHAHAHAHA @glaizaredux sana all mamsh."
Glaiza told her follower not to lose hope because, who knows: "Pila pila din cause... You never know Smiling face with [smiling eyes emoji]"
Glaiza told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) Lucas's reply caught her by surprise.
She said, "Nagtatatalon at nagsisisigaw ako sa harap ng family ko haha."
Many Filipinos, Glaiza among them, are hooked on Emily in Paris.
Asked what she likes about series, the Kapuso star told PEP.ph, "Since we all still aren’t able to travel at the minute, gusto ko yung feeling na when I watch the show, parang dinadala niya ako sa Paris.
"Story-wise, it’s very easy to follow. Some people find it cliché but I like the fact that the show embraces that."
Given the chance to travel to Paris once the pandemic is over, Glaiza said, "I’d like to go to some of the locations used in the show like the museums, cafes and just wander around the street."
PEP.ph interviewed Glaiza via Instagram's direct message on Wednesday, October 28.
