Sharon Cuneta could have made it to the 2020 ABS-CBN Christmas Special were it not for a mix-up in her schedule.
Sharon explained her absence to disappointed fans who were looking forward to her performance in the show.
She never missed the yearly event since her Kapamilya comeback in 2015, and according to the Megastar, the ABS-CBN bosses did ask her to go to this year's extravaganza.
Regrettably, she was not available.
She wrote in her tweet today, December 21, 2020 (published as is), “Pls. do not blame ABS-CBN for my absence in their Christmas Special last night! It wasn’t their fault. Ako ang di pumuwede.
“But I was getting several calls &texts from my Boss to go. Sorry for the mix-up! I couldn’t make it &am so sorry because I really wanted to be there!”
Nonetheless, she is part of the Kapamilya network’s Christmas station ID for 2020.
In the omnibus plug of ABS-CBN offerings for 2020, Sharon is set to do two projects.
First is the comeback of Your Face Sounds Familiar for its third season, where she will be a judge with Gary Valenciano and Ogie Alcasid.
She is also part of the movie Keys To The Heart with Joshua Garcia and Zaijian Jaranilla.
Charo Santos-Concio was first announced to play one of the movie’s leads, but the plug showed Sharon joining Joshua and Zaijian in the film.
