Ayon sa opisyal na pahayag ng Miss Garnd International Organization ngayong Huwebes, March 4, base sa resulta ng swab test ng dalawalang kandidata, positibo sa virus sina Miss Kenya Irene Ng'endo at Miss Nigeria Chikaodili Nna-Udosen.

“During State's Quarantine with regular routine COVID-19 swab test there was two candidates test result turn positive which are Nigeria and Kenya.
“The Miss Grand International has follow the standard regulated guideline recommended by government together with doctor advice by moving both candidates to Piyavate Hospital for further treatment.
“The hotel applied their standard ASQ policy by sanitized all related area including their accomodation room. The rest of the candidates test negative and clear from COVID-19.
