The surge in COVID-19 cases is one of the reasons the airing of GMA-7's upcoming Afternoon Prime series, Ang Dalawang Ikaw, has been postponed.
Ang Dalawang Ikaw was supposed to air its pilot episode on Monday, March 29, 2021. In fact, GMA-7 has been airing its trailer and music video on television and social media.
Today, March 24, 2021, the corporate communications department of GMA Network called PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) to clarify that Ang Dalawang Ikaw had already stopped its lock-in taping.
The series' airing was also postponed.
Ang Dalawang Ikaw is top-billed by the love team of Rita Daniela and Ken Chan, a.k.a. RitKen, their third project together after My Special Tatay (2018-2019) and One of the Baes (2019).
Directed by Jorron Monroy, Ang Dalawang Ikaw also features Anna Vicente, Jeremy Sabido, Anthony Rosaldo, Dominic Roco, Ervic Vijandre, Lianne Valentin, and Jhake Vargas.

The cast and staff of the show had already finished two cycles of their lock-in taping: the first in January 2021 and the second cycle in February 2021.

On March 23, 2021, however, GMA-7 announced that a rerun of the 2014 prime-time series Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real, starring Maricel Soriano, Lovi Poe, and Dingdong Dantes, will take over the timeslot of Bilangin Ang Bituin Sa Langit.
Ang Dalawang Ikaw, which tackles the story of a man with dissociate identity disorder, was supposed to replace Bilangin Ang Bituin Sa Langit, which will end on March 26, 2021.
GMA-7 has yet to announce the new pilot airing date of Ang Dalawang Ikaw.
