Ronnie Liang victimized by scammers

The scammers stole from his Gcash account and credit card.

"The scammer was able to hack my Gcash & took away thousands from my Gcash account. (nagtira pa ng 8.97 pesos)," posted Ronnie Liang on his Facebook account.

Nalimas ang laman ng Gcash account ni Ronnie Liang.

Ayon sa Facebook post ng singer, eight pesos na lang ang natira sa laman ng kanyang Gcash.

May nag-DM (Direct Message) daw sa kanya sa Twitter na nagpanggap na Gcash representative at tinanong ang kanyang PIN (Personal Identification Number).

Tinanong din ang kanyang buong pangalan, birthday, at e-mail address.

Malaking halaga rin ang nakuha sa kanyang Gcash.

Nagbabala naman ang aktor sa publiko sa ganitong klaseng scam.

Post ni Ronnie sa Facebook:

“BEWARE: Sharing with you the conversation I had with someone who pretended to be a Gcash agent.

"The scammer was able to hack my Gcash & took away thousands from my Gcash account. (nagtira pa ng 8.97 pesos).

“Sharing this to raise awareness of how these online scams are so rampant and how vulnerable the system is.

"Please share this post to spread information and to serve as warning to all the gcash users.

Noon namang March 23, Tuesday ay nag-post din ang "Ngiti" singer sa kanyang social media tungkol sa gumamit diumano ng kanyang credit card.

Post ni Ronnie:

“BEWARE : I’ve just received a text message from my bank na may gumamit daw ng credit card ko sa South Korea to purchase from an iphone store doon.
