“Ang advice niya sa akin to take the Sinovac shots. In six months, booster ng Moderna or Pfizer dahil, technically, third quarter pa raw ang dating.”

VACCINATION DAY

Ganito, KN95, face shield, alcohol, at social distancing.

No po.’”

FOOD TRIP AFTER VACCINATION

Ayon sa co-host ng Idol sa Kusina, “It’s a step at being proactive and responsible.

“More on gratefulness ang naramdaman ko after dahil nakita ko kung paano mag-sacrifice ang medical and government workers.”

Dagdag niya, “May fear and anxiety pa ba? Yes.

“Kasi, you can still get the virus even if you are vaccinated but at least, you have a better chance at survival.

“Yun ang iniisip ko paulit-ulit para medyo makahinga-hinga.”

STEPS ON VACCINATION

“Category: A3

“First dose of Sinovac today through the Batasan National High School Vaccine Site.

“It took an hour to finish the process. Booked my appointment through the EzConsult App.

“Please refer to the tips I shared in my previous post. I followed those as well for today.

“Thank you to my physicians for patiently answering all my questions. And also educating & encouraging me about Covid-19 Vaccination & why I had to get jabbed now & not later.

“Thank you to our frontline personnel & QC LGU staff who are cheerful, happy & eager to assist everyone. They also explained to me in detail what I would expect after vaccination.

“The only additional info I can try to disseminate is for those who are concerned about their second dose.

“You do not need to rebook according to the staff. Ezconsult will take care of informing you of the details of your appointment on specified date indicated in your vaccine card through SMS or email. The second dose is RESERVED for you po. Do not worry.

“Also, please do not be discouraged if currently mahirap po makakuha ng appointment. The QC LGU is waiting for supplies to come in. You can also opt for Baranggay assisted booking. Please call your Kagawad or Captain for questions. Tiwala lang po! Believe na we will all be vaccinated soon.

“Yesterday my Mama, Aunt & Kuya went to Pinyahan Elementary in Quezon City to get vaccinated. Here’s what we did to ensure that exposure time outside would be fast.

“They spent 1.5 hours at the site for everything, including looking for parking (challenge yan sa site na ito) & observation time.

“1. Booked their schedule through the ezconsult website & downloaded the app for easy checking. I had to wait a few days before we got approval but luckily when we did, we were able to book a slot right away.

“Currently the QC LGU is waiting for more supplies so do not feel discouraged if all slots are taken. They will announce when they can start accepting by appointment again.

“Booking the appointment is an important step to speed up the process because you have a QR Code that ensures entry and you will have all necessary requirements ready.

“2. On the day of their vaccination they arrived 30 minutes before schedule. The process was smooth. You go through a couple of stations. Review of Papers (Appointment Confirmation, Medical Certificate, Medical Records, ID’s), BP/Registration, Doctor’s Screening, Vaccination & Post Vaccination Observation. They did say everything was organized. They felt safe and everyone who attended to them were so nice.

“3. They were both given Sinovac & so far no adverse effects. Praise God!

“TIPS:

“1. Ensure you have eaten, gone to the toilet & you may drink paracetamol before going to your appointment.

“2. Wear n95 or double mask with face shield, comfortable cool clothes that you can easily roll up, documents can be placed in a plastic envelope so you can sanitize, own pen, water with straw to avoid removing the mask & lots of alcohol.

“3. Keep distance, be mindful and stay vigilant.

“4. Be kind to everyone and express your gratitude to the medical team, the lgu staff and the security personnel because they are doing us a great service.

“My mother is all praises for her vaccine site. She says, “The place is so clean. The staff and doctors are so efficient ang respectful. If everywhere in the Philippines, Filipinos are like this, there is no reason why we cannot progress. Thank you for making my experience so wonderful & unforgettable.”

“I hope this helps! Remember vaccines only provide a layer of protection after completion of doses. Please keep on practicing minimum health standards but most importantly.. STAY HOME!”
