Nagpahiwatig si Sharon Cuneta na pansamantala muna siyang mamamalagi sa Amerika.
Sa kanyang Instagram noong nakaraang Martes, May 18, ibinahagi ng Megastar ang isang larawan ng tanawin sa Los Angeles kung saan siya tumuloy matapos siyang lumipad doon mula Pilipinas noong May 11.
Pakiramdam daw ni Sharon, malayung-malayo ang COVID-19 virus doon.
Saad niya, “My gosh. Being here makes it seem like Covid is a lot farther away than it ever was.
“I love the weather now (it’s cold), and aside from seeing people wearing masks and not being able to watch movies at cinemas, eating at restaurants tables apart, it almost feels like life is normal again... I love being ‘home here.”
Deklarasyon pa ni Sharon, maaari siyang manirahan doon habambuhay.
Sabi ng 55-year-old singer-actress, “Though I lived in Boston for a year++ and love New York, the West Coast has always felt like home to me since I was a little girl.
“I could live here forever.”
Pero ayon din kay Sharon, walang balak ang asawa niyang si Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan na lisanin ang Pilipinas. Habang ang kanilang mga anak ay sa iba't ibang lugar nais manirahan.
Ibig niyang sabihin ay tila imposibleng manirahan silang pamilya sa Los Angeles.
“Kiko would NEVER leave the Philippines no matter what though. I could. In a heartbeat!
"Sorry na lang life is short. Kakie will continue her studies in New York this year, God-willing.
“Miel will probably follow in a couple of years. Though these two daughters of mine are just as Nationalistic as their father.
“My Miguel however, wants to live here with me. KC got her green card long before I did.
"Patay at iba-iba kami! Ngek.”

Lumipad si Sharon patungong Amerika para raw makahinga at makabawi ng lakas.
Bahagi ng post niya bago siya lumipad patungong Los Angeles: “I am flying home to my Mommy’s Gramps’ country, where only my eldest and I are legal residents.
“I need to breathe, collect myself, gain strength. Love you all and will miss you guys.”
Noong Martes din, nabakunahan na si Sharon ng Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
