Ruru Madrid is proud of the hardships that he is going through for his upcoming prime-time series Lolong.
In a post by GMA Public Affairs, the producer of the series, Ruru showed his toned body, as well as the battle scars he sustained while taping his fight and water scenes for the series.
Two of the photos showed a topless Ruru, with marks of his sando being visible because of sunburn.
Ruru also showed scars, cuts, and scratches on his arms.
Whenever on a break from taping, Ruru keeps himself busy with working out and toning his body for the series.
His fitness buddies are co-stars Marco Alcaraz, DJ Durano, Mikoy Morales, and Luke Conde to join his workouts.
Lolong is dubbed as GMA-7's "biggest action-adventure series" this 2021.
Aside from Ruru's leading ladies, Shaira Diaz and Arra San Agustin, the series also features Dakila, a 22-foot animatronic crocodile.
