Yesterday, September 7, 2021, FPJ's Ang Probinsyano ended with a cliffhanger that John Prats's character, Jerome, was dying after getting shot by a group of armed men.
A bloodied Jerome was able to blurt out Cardo's name as he hovers from life and death until he lost consciousness.
In the continuation of the scene in the episode today, September 8, Jerome was just having a bad dream after all.
It was even Cardo who woke him up, saying that he was having a nightmare.
Many believed that John's character might be killed in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano to leave the show and focus on It's Showtime, where he is the main director since May 2021.
Joining the monthly lock-in tapings for FPJ's Ang Probinsyano would have John temporarily leave his directorial duties for It's Showtime.
John has been a part of FPJ's Ang Probinsyano since 2016.
During John's last interview with ABS-CBN News, he was asked if his character will be killed in the show because of his new hat as a director in It's Showtime.
He exclaimed, “Wala pa namang sinasabing ganoon!”
