Heart Evangelista's priority at the moment is her television career.
Apparently, she was supposed to go to Paris for an event by Chaumet, a luxury brand, with popular South Korean actress Song Hye Kyo.
She was also supposed to attend the Cannes Film Festival after being invited by different brands.
However, Heart chose to stay and tape her upcoming GMA-7 drama series, I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.
Heart revealed these in her reply to a fan on Twitter this Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
Heart’s fan wrote, “So I just learned that @heart021485 was supposed to be in Paris for @Chaumet and could've met Song Hye Kyo and also invited in the recently helmed Cannes film festival by brands to dress her in jewels but had to decline due to her telenovela taping.”
Heart quoted the tweet and confirmed the fan’s tweet.
She said, “Yes but I needed to film for I left my heart in Sorsogon :) there’s always a next time :)”
Earlier today, November 4, Heart retweeted GMA News’ article about Heart’s tweet, where she posted her invite from Jean Marc Mansvelt, the CEO of Maison Chaumet.
Heart then wrote, “Sadness but filming for I left [heart emoji] in Sorsogon was equally special :)”

Meanwhile, I Left My Heart in Sorsogon is getting much attention not only in the Philippines.
It was after Heart’s famous international friends invited their fans to watch the Kapuso actress’ new TV drama.
The personalities who gave the actress a shout-out were Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd, international fashion designer Christian Louboutin, and Bling Empire’s Kane Lim and Kelly Mi Li.
Heart and Brandon met each other in August 2021 when they collaborated for an art project in New York.
Heart and Christian became friends in 2017 when they were seen dancing together at the Philippine Tatler Ball. Heart was also present at Christian’s Fashion Week party in 2019, where they were caught hugging each other.
Meanwhile, Heart, Kane, and Kelly became friends when Heart went to the U.S. for work commitments early this year.
I Left My Heart in Sorsogon, which also top-bills Paolo Contis and Richard Yap, is expected to air this November in GMA Telebabad’s first slot after 24 Oras.
