Legendary folk singer Heber Bartolome passed away on Monday night, November 15.

Heber's brother Jesse Bartolome confirmed this in his interview with DzBB Super Radyo this Tuesday, November 16.

Heber participated in Cesar's online birthday jamming for a cause for our compatriots who were victims of the floods due to the strong typhoons that ravaged our country.

Cesar praised Heber for the honor he received, the Gawad Sagisag Quezon, which was awarded on August 1,2021.

The Gawad Sagisag Quezon considers Heber a hero of the Filipino language because of his advocacy for the use of our language in the fight for equal rights for our poor countrymen.
