Vice Ganda emerged as the Grand Winner of the Best Entertainment Presenter/Host category at the recently concluded Asian Academy Creative Awards 2021.
The award is for Vice's performance in his ABS-CBN program Everybody, Sing!, which aired from June to October 2021.
This was announced during Asian Academy Creative Awards' Gala Night on December 3.
On Twitter, Vice was ecstatic: "Overwhelmed! Ang gulo ng pakiramdam! Naiihi ako na naduduwal na di ko maintindihan. Nakakabaliw sa saya! Thank you Lord! This is unbelievable! Sh*t i just won Best Entertainment Host at the Asian Academy Creative Awards! Sh*****tttttttt!!!!"
Vice bested other national winners from 16 participating countries: Australia & New Zealand, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
He was the only Filipino who won a Grand Winner award among the other national winners in the Philippines.
The other nominees were Maja Salvador for Best Actress in a Leading Role, JM de Guzman for Best Actor in a Leading Role, and Sylvia Sanchez and Nonie Buencamino for Best Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role.
Vice Ganda's Everybody, Sing! was a national winner for Best Music/Dance Program.
Meanwhile, on December 2, a Grand Finals night was held in the other categories where GMA-7's 24 Oras emerged as the only Filipino winner among the other national winners.
