The highly anticipated Miss Universe Philippines 2021 coronation night has begun.
Held at Eilat, Israel, on the night of December 12 (morning of December 14 in the Philippines), it started with a feisty dance number of all the 80 candidates including the Philippines' representative Beatrice Luigi Gomez.
Then the Top 16 contenders (in no particular order) were announced by host Steve Harvey:

This was the first time The Bahamas made it to the Top 16 of Miss Universe.

One of the unique parts of the program was that Steve had a chance to chat with the Top 16 finalists in a quiick interview.
This year's panel of judges were our very own Kapuso Prime Time Queen Marian Rivera, Bollywood actress Urbashi Rautela, former Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima, American actress Rena Sofer, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, entertainment host Adamari Lopez, entrepeneur-model Lori Harvey.
Lori is the daughter of Steve Harvey.
