Nakatanggap ng kabi-kabilang batikos ang actor-chef na si Marvin Agustin mula sa mga dismayadong customers ng kanyang sikat na cochinillo business.

Ayon sa mga nagreklamong customers, hindi nila in-expect na sobrang taliwas sa promotional videos ni Marvin tungkol sa kanyang Cochi by Marvin Agustin ang darating sa kanilang cochinillo noong December 24.

Sa videos ni Marvin, makikitang malutong na malutong ang balat ng kanyang cochinillo. Pero karamihan sa mga umorder ay hindi nasiyahan sa nai-deliver para sa kanilang Christmas eve meal.

May mga nagsabing hindi malutong ang balat, sunog ang balat, hilaw ang laman, at sobrang late nang dumating ang kanilang order.

Sa mahal daw ng presyo ng isang cochinillo ay hindi sulit ito.

MARVIN ISSUES PUBLIC APOLOGY

Noong December 25, araw mismo ng Pasko, hindi na siguro nakayanan ni Marvin ang dami ng reklamo kaya naglabas siya ng public apology.

Inilarawan niya ang kanyang karanasan bilang "my worst Christmas."

Mensahe niya: “My worst Christmas. I will learn from this.

“I’m very sorry, everyone…

“Napakahalaga ng Pasko sa atin, lalo na sa dami nang pinagdaanan natin ngayong nakaraang taon kung kaya’t napakasakit para sa akin na madami kaming mga taong naperwisyo kahapon [December 24] at ngayong araw na ‘to.”

Aminado si Marvin na marami silang order na tinanggap at hindi nila naisip na baka magkaroon ng aberya.

Saad niya, “I am very sorry to each one of you. Maling-mali na nagpa-overwhelm kami sa mga di inaasahang problema, nagkulang kami sa aming serbisyo, at hindi namin agad-agad na natugunan ang inyong katanungan.

“At masakit man yung mga nababasa ko, tinatanggap ko lahat kasi talagang nagkamali ako.

“Sana mabigyan ninyo ako ng pagkakataon maipakita na hindi ko pagkatao ang magbigay ng problema o hirap sa kahit na kanino.

“I had a series of unfortunate incidents from our kitchen equipment breaking down, a glitch in our ordering system, and last minute cancellations of couriers due to several unforeseen reasons.

“Alam kong hindi ito excuse not to give you the service you deserve and expect. Lalo na sa araw na halos tatlong buwang pinaghahandaan ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino kung kaya’t napakahalagang huwag magkamali.”

Nangako si Marvin na patuloy silang makikipag-ugnayan sa kanilang disappointed customers at pagbubutihin ang kanilang trabaho.

Aniya pa, “My team and I have reached out to some of you, the people I’ve caused terrible inconvenience and an awful experience during the most important and special occasion of the year. And you will continue to hear from us in the next few days.

“To those who haven’t received a message from us, I am just gathering all the information so we can address your concerns properly.
