Regine Velasquez found herself on the spot on her first day to pinch-hit for Karla Estrada as co-host of the ABS-CBN morning show Magandang Buhay.
Last Monday, January 31, 2022, Regine arrived on the set and realized to her horror that she was wearing her house slippers!
Regine shared on Instagram her embarrassing moment backstage.
She wrote, “Eh Kamusta naman yung nakalimutan kong magpalit ng sapatos [laughing emoji] akalain mo bang nakarating akong ABS na nakatsinelas as in pang-bahay na tsinelas.”
Regine said she had to be careful while walking because her slippers were already worn out.
She continued (published as is), “sa sobrang luma manipis na ingat na ingat ako maglakad baka mapigtas [laughing emoji]
“sa sobrang luma dati may design to nabura na kakasuot ko!!!!!! Nakakaloka!!!!!!! #magandangbuhayherename by the way sa birthday ko paki bigyan nyo nga akong bagong sinelas!!!!!!! good morning”
In the comments section, Regine’s followers, including her celebrity friends, laughed with her on her blooper.
Regine’s husband, Ogie Alcasid, promised to give her a new pair of slippers.
In her follow-up post, Regine flaunted the pair of boots she wore during the show itself.
Regine wrote, “Oh ha bumawi sa sinelas kaya nag bota ako today. Wag ako!!!!!! [laughing emoji] @darla”
