Bianca Gonzalez is "still in a daze" after the end of Pinoy Big Brother's latest season, which culminated with its Big Night on May 29, 2022.
It was her first time as the event's main host after its former main host, Toni Gonzaga, resigned her post in February 2022.
Bianca also became a trending topic on social media, where people lauded her for staying as a Kapamilya and a PBB host.
Bianca wrote on Twitter (published as is), "Still in a daze from everything that happened yesterday. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, gratefulness, joy, humility reading all your posts and tags. First time kong maka-experience ng ganito in my almost 19 year professional hosting career. Thank you so, so, so much."
Many netizens noticed how Bianca turned emotional during her closing spiels
Before Bianca, co-host Robi Domingo reiterated the mantra of ABS-CBN employees during the shutdown: Kapamilya Forever.
"Kahit anong mangyari, Kapamilya forever."
When it was Bianca's turn to close the show, she gave a message to all the Kapamilya viewers who watched PBB.
She said, "Mga Kapamilya, tayo ay isang kumunity, isang pamilya, isang bansa.
"Taas-noo nating ibinida ang galing ng Pinoy. Hanggang sa muling pagbubukas ng bahay ni kuya, ang dating border ng bahay ni Kuya, Bianca Gonzalez.
"Kami at tayo ang pamilya ni Kuya!"
The hosts, including Melai Cantiveros, Kim Chiu, Richard Juan, Sky Quizon, Maymay Entrata, and Enchong Dee, then jumped out of joy for a successful season.
Bianca, for her part, hugged Robi, and covered her face as she cried.
Kim, whose voice also started cracking, threw in, "Ate B, thank you so much!! We love you, Ate Bianca!"
The group, including ABS-CBN chief operating officer for broadcast Cory Vidanes, gave Bianca a hug.
The moment became a talked-about topic on Twitter, where netizens hailed Bianca as the "real big winner" of the season.
