Vice Ganda had a stage mishap during the episode of It’s Showtime aired earlier today, June 27, 2022.
It happened during the “Showtime Sexy Babe” segment where Vice, along with hosts Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro, and Ogie Alcasid, were interviewing contestant AJ Batitay.
Vice noticed how AJ seemed to have lost her balance while walking and twirling as she did her walk on the stage.
Jhong pointed out that the contestant might be uncomfortable wearing platform heels.
Vice then went on to do an exaggerated imitation of AJ’s walk while walking on his toes.
But during his hilarious act on stage, as he sashayed comically, Vice missed a step and tumbled over in front of the cameraman's spot.
Vhong, Jhong, a floor director, and Vice’s partner and co-host Ion Perez promptly helped Vice get up, while unable to hold down laughing.
Teddy Corpuz, who was seated beside the stage, could be heard asking, “Uy, anong nangyari?!”
Vice, laughing, said, “Nasubsob ako!”
Still laughing from his blooper, Vice told AJ, “Huwag kang magtitingkayad!”
Vhong quipped, “May show ka sa U.S., papasok ka sa TV,” referring to how Vice stumbled toward the cameras.
Vice replied, “Natakot ako, akala ko papasok ako sa camera! Magugulat yung mga madlang pipol, ‘Uy, bakit nandito ka sa bahay namin?’
“’Nakikiupo lang po ako kasi balita ko komportable yung sofa niyo!’”
Vice then said about himself, “Ang pangit pala ng nakatingkayad pero piki ka!”
Jhong requested for a replay and joked that AJ pushed Vice!
But Vice blamed Jhong for his fall!
When the replay was shown, Vice’s fall was really an accident.
Vice, however, found something for which to blame Jhong, “Nakita mo? Ikaw yung pinakamasaya! Sa clip na yun ikaw ang pinakamasaya!”
But then, Jhong acquitted himself, “Tignan mong maigi, tignan mo yung nasa likod ni Vhong,” referring to AJ.
Vice realized, “Ah teka lang, may babaeng masaya sa likod!”
Turning to AJ, he told her, “Masaya ka? Muntik akong malaglag sa hagdanan! Ayun oh, ulo mo lang yung kita pero masayang-masaya ka!”
AJ defended, “Pinag-pray po kita niyan!”
Of course, all that blaming was just a joke.
Vice summed it up, saying, “Di ba ang daming nangyari today? Monday pa lang, ha!”
