Hindi pinalampas ni Geneva Cruz ang isang basher na tinawag siyang “trying hard.”
Sa Facebook ngayong araw, July 1, 2022, ipinost ni Geneva ang screenshot ng pagbuwelta niya sa isang basher.
Hindi malinaw kung saang video ni Geneva nagkomento ang basher, pero mababasang pinatulan ito ng actress-singer.
Buwelta ni Geneva sa nagsabing “trying hard” siya: “I’m not sure if I should block you because you’re the one who’s trying too hard to shame me when all I did was dance, when you’re the one wearing sunnies indoors, so I don’t know. SMH [shaking my head].”
Dapat daw sa basher ay sumuporta sa mga katulad niyang babae imbes na punahin at batikusin ang mga ito.
Kung ipararamdam mo na hindi maganda ang ginagawa ng iba, hindi naman daw ito nangangahulugang angat sila sa kanila.
Saad ni Geneva, “It’s your kind who should learn how to support your fellow women instead of talking ill about them.
“Making them feel bad does not make you prettier or COOLER; it is a reflection of how bad you feel about yourself.”
Sa kabila nito, hiling niyang maging masaya ang buhay ng basher pati na ang dalawa pang nag-like sa “trying hard” comment nito.
Mensahe ni Geneva: “I wish you happiness and enlightenment in life. Take care, you and the two others who liked you comment, which probably made by you as well.”
“I DON’T DO THIS TO SHAME THE SHAMERS”
Paglilinaw ni Geneva sa comments section, hindi pamamahiya ang pagpu-post niya ng mga negatibong komento ng netizens.
Ginagawa raw niya ito para tumigil na ang mga ito sa pambubuska at pangwawalanghiya sa iba.
Aniya, “Understand me, ha, I don't do this to shame the shamers… I do this so that they can stop doing this to other people on the internet.
“When you expose yourselves in a hateful manner, you are only hurting yourselves.
"Be loving and be kind, para ang balik sa inyo maganda rin. Di ko naman pinapakialaman na nag-sha-shades ka sa bahay mo if you think I'm too much, don't come here.
“Walang weight yung opinion mo sakin kasi that's old news… you will continue to dig holes with what you're doing.
“Don't be a bully, or you will be bullied. Be kind, and people will be kind to you as well.
“Let us all educate these humans para sa kanila rin yan.
“Have a wonderful day, everyone!!!”
Noong nakaraang taon, naging viral ang sagot ni Geneva sa netizens na pinagdiskitahan ang kanyang singit dahil maitim daw ito.
Sagot niya sa mga ito: "It’s called ‘shadow.’ Pasensya ka na, I forgot to photoshop it for your delight."
