Katrina Halili is set to join Unica Hija, an upcoming GMA-7 series headlined by Kate Valdez and Kelvin Miranda.
This project serves as Katrina's TV comeback following her decision to return to her hometown in Palawan last April:
Her reason: while waiting for her contract with GMA-7 to be renewed, she wanted to spend more time with daughter Katie.
Her contract will expire in October, but she is yet to hear from the management about the renewal.
Unica Hija is also her second series this year; her first was the second season of Prima Donnas, which ended in May 2022.
Now her hiatus, which is supposedly until August, is obviously cut short.
Katrina will be working with her StarStruck batchmate Mark Herras and First Lady actor Boboy Garrovillo.
Click batch 1 headliners Biboy Ramirez and Maybelyn dela Cruz are also set to make their teleserye comeback in Unica Hija after not being active on TV for many years.
Also part of the series are Bernard Palanca, Maricar de Mesa, Faith da Silva, Athena Madrid, Jennie Gabriel, and Jemwell Ventenilla.
