Two rivaling noontime shows, ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime and TV5’s Lunch Out Loud, are joining forces this July.
The short report by MJ Marfori on TV5’s newscast, Frontline Pilipinas, today, July 6, 2022, did not give specific details
MJ only said the “back-to-back na pagsasama ng Lunch Out Loud at It’s Showtime" would beef up noontime entertainment, adding, “Ang dating magkatapat, ngayo’y magkapatid na.”
When exactly the “pagsasanib-pwersa” of the two shows will happen in July was also not mentioned.
Currently, It’s Showtime only airs on A2Z Channel 11 on free TV after the shutdown of ABS-CBN’s free TV channel in July 2020.
Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, and Karylle remain the main presenters of the show with Kim Chiu, Ryan Bang, Amy Perez, and Jhong Hilario.
It's Showtime is the next ABS-CBN Entertainment title to air on TV5, following ASAP Natin 'To, FPJ: Da King, the whole Primetime Bida block of ABS-CBN, and Idol Philippines.
Lunch Out Loud, produced by Brightlight Productions, started airing in October 2020. Some of its hosts were also former cast members of It’s Showtime, including Billy Crawford, Bayani Agbayani, and its creative director Bobet Vidanes.
