Philippine showbiz sees the last of another talented comedian — Carlos "Caloy" Alde.
On July 23, 2022, it has been confirmed by people close to Caloy, that the actor has died at the age of 60.
Sometimes referred to as the "Mr. Bean of the Philippines," Caloy is more popularly known as "Ogag" (gago spelled backwards) after playing the lead role in the alternative comedy on TV5 with the same title.
While his wife, Rhoda Porral-Alde, and son Marley, have yet to say anything about the death of Caloy, the matriarch of the family changed her display photo on Facebook to black.
She also shared a post from the FB group World of Prayers, about finding strength and hope amid trying times.

Some of Caloy's co-workers in the industry also wrote messages of remembrance and condolences for the actor and his family.
Other supporters of the Ogag star thanked the comedian for all the laughs.
