Tuesday, August 16, 2022—Xylo at BGC, Taguig City, became the venue of the launch and viewing party of the first-ever Drag Race Philippines, the local franchise of the worldwide hit reality talent show featuring fierce and talented drag queens hosted by drag superstar Ru Paul.

Present at the viewing party were Drag Race Philippines host Paolo Ballesteros and main judges Jiggly Caliente and KaladKaren.

Paolo, Jiggly, and KaladKaren sashayed, shantayed, and slayed at the rainbow carpet of the venue as waiting guests and media people cheered and greeted them.

Also present were the 12 queens competing for the finish line and the honor of being crowned as the very first Drag Race Superstar from the Philippines.

They are Brigiding, Corazon Filipinas, Eva Le Queen, Gigi Era, Lady Morgana, Marina Summers, Minty Fresh, Precious Paula, Prince Marell, Turing Quinto, Vinas Deluxe, and Xilhouete.

Last night, August 17, Drag Race Philippines premiered on HBO GO with its first and second episodes.

New episodes will be available every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. on HBO Go, discovery +, and WOW Presents Plus.
