Post ni Aicelle: "We humbly ask for your support in our fight to keep our mom alive. Sharing this link/post and donating any amount through our #GoFundMe account will be a great help to us."

"Mommy remains on a mechanical ventilator in the ICU and has not regained consciousness since her cardiac arrest three weeks ago.

"Kindly take time to read our GoFundMe page to know more about our story.

"Thank you so much and we hope someday to give back all your love. God bless your generous hearts."

AARON'S STORY

Bahagi ng post ni Aaron, "My brother, Abam, rushed her to the hospital, but she had a cardiac arrest on the way. They had to revive her for nine minutes in the emergency room before they could feel her pulse again.

"The oxygen deprivation to her brain led to several seizures that lasted that entire first day. She remains a critical patient in the ICU; her vitals remain stable but she remains unconscious and intubated.

"Doctors are waiting for the swelling in her brain to subside before any intervention can be done, a wait that they say can last for two to three months. Most of her medications are given intravenously, such as anti-seizure drugs and antibiotics - these IV drugs are very costly and are given at least two to three times a day.

"Also in the midst of all this, she is given regular hemodialysis for an already existing end-stage renal disease. She needs to remain in the ICU this entire time, and the bill for each week in the ICU amounts to nearly 1 million Philippine pesos (15,000 GBP). We are currently in our third week."

AICELLE'S STORY

"Growing up, Mommy was our rock, our defender, our inspiration. She absorbed so much of life’s pains just so she could shield us from it.

"I remember waking up at sunrise to find her downstairs, washing our clothes by hand the whole night. I remember her insisting that we go to private schools, no matter if we had to borrow money left and right, because that was her way of securing our future.

"And I remember, it was Mommy who gave me the courage to sing.

"I never would have thought that my voice would amount to anything, at least not until Mommy took my hand and told me to believe.

"Every single performance you have ever seen is because of her. She knew me better than I knew myself.

"When we were young and too weak to dream, Mommy dreamed big for us. Today, it is our turn to be strong and dream for her."

"We appeal to your kindness, to please help us get through this very critical first month of treatment at the very least, which will amount to 4 million Philippine pesos (60,000 GBP).

"We know it is a daunting amount for many of us, but if enough of us share the load, maybe it will not seem so insurmountable in the end."

Dagdag pa niya, "Thank you for accompanying our family in this difficult journey. Any and all kinds of support will go straight to Mommy Onnie’s treatment… and our hearts. Anything is possible if we are #OneForOnnie."
