The South Korean boy group SEVENTEEN will soon return for another concert in the country following their sold-out two-night concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on October 8 and 9, 2022.
On Friday, October 14, 2022, concert promoter Live Nation Philippines announced on social media that the 13-member boy group—composed of S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon, Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan, Hoshi, Jun, The8, and Dino—will stage a concert at The Philippine Arena in Bulacan on December 17, 2022.
The post read: "JUST ANNOUNCED! SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [BE THE SUN] - BULACAN
"SEVENTEEN heard you, and we're here to deliver the message. [emoji] They’re coming back and it’s gonna be BETTER!"
Ticket prices, guidelines, and the seat map are yet to be announced.
Fan club pre-sale for the concert tickets will be held on October 23, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. General sale of tickets will begin on October 25, 2022, from 10 a.m. onwards until tickets last.
The group has been performing yearly for the Filipino fans since their first visit in 2016, and their world tour stop in Bulacan will be their sixth concert in the country.
SEVENTEEN will also make history as the first K-Pop group to have a solo concert in the world's largest indoor arena. The Philippine Arena, located at Ciudad de Victoria in Bulacan, has a capacity for 55,000 people.
Prior to SEVENTEEN's concert, K-Pop groups Super Junior, Girls' Generation, BTOB, and Red Velvet had performed at the Philippine Arena for the Best of Best in the Philippines concert in 2015.
Other international superstars who staged solo concerts at The Philippine Arena were Katy Perry in 2015, Guns N' Roses in 2018, and U2 in 2019.
SEVENTEEN debuted in the K-Pop scene in 2015. Since then, they have released four studio albums and 12 extended play (EP) albums.
Some of their chart-topping hits are "Left & Right," "Hot," "Ready to Love," and "Rock With You," among many others.
