Kapuso broadcast journalist Atom Araullo on netizens spreading "lies" to discredit a person or an organization: "I don’t usually call out private individuals here, but behavior like this should not be normalized. Disinformation is a huge problem globally, one that can have deadly consequence."

Pag-alma ni Atom, "[Twitter user], don’t do that. These are lies, probably fed to you by some of the influencers you follow.

"Disinformation is a huge problem globally, one that can have deadly consequences," tweet pa ni Atom.

NUJP STANDS BY ATOM'S STANCE ON DISINFORMATION

Sabi pa ng NUJP, ang pagtawag ng CPP-NPA-NDF "operative" kina Ronalyn Olea, Atom Araullo, at iba pang journalists “shows that the practice is nothing more than a convenient way to discredit and intimidate inconvenient voices.”
