Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, JM de Guzman, award-winning actresses Maricel Soriano and Ruby Ruiz will lead the powerhouse cast of the upcoming ABS-CBN series Linlang.
This news was announced by Dreamscape Entertainment earlier today, October 21, 2022, when they uploaded a teaser video on their social media platforms.
According to the video, the series revolves around lies, secrets, jealousy, and betrayal in a relationship.
The caption read (published as is), "Kung si Mister kayang manloko, si Misis, matinik magtago ng sikreto!
"Ihanda ang inyong mga puso sa bagong teleseryeng hindi ka pakakalmahin."
The project marks the reunion of Maricel and Dreamscape, after her series The General's Daughter in 2019.
The Diamond Star said, “Excited din ako. Ang gagawin ko yung isang way, hindi yung the normal way.”
Paulo and Kim also teased more about their character.
Paulo said, “Sa isang relasyon, ‘di kadalasan isang side lang lagi yung nagkakamali.”
Kim added, “We’re up for the challenge. Sobrang iba talaga, ibang-iba and it needs a lot of hard work.”
Meanwhile, JM and Ruby, expressed their excitement to be part of the series.
JM stated, "Finally makakapagtrabaho na ako sa Dreamscape. Sobrang complex po ng istorya at na-e-excite akong gampanan po yung role ko."
Ruby said, "Nakita ko na yung line up of good actors and actresses, doon ako na-nerbyos. Honored to be part of the cast."
Also joining the series are Jaime Fabregas, Raymond Bagatsing, Vance Larena, Heaven Peralejo, Adrian Lindayag, Race Matias, PBB Kumunity Season 10 big winner Anji Salvacion, and Idol Philippines 2nd runner-up Kice.
Linlang will be directed by Jojo Saguin and Manny Palo. It is set to air in 2023.
