Sharon Cuneta sits out the ASAP show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Part of the mission of the longest-running Sunday variety show ASAP Natin 'To is to reach out and bring its brand of musical entertainment to an ever-expanding global audience, particularly the tight-knit Filipino communities across the major cities all over the world.
After touring North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, it is now heading to the center of global entertainment via the highly-anticipated ASAP Natin 'To Las Vegas special at the Orleans Arena on November 5, 2022 PST (November 26, 2022 in the Philippines).
While Kapamilya stars have already headed to the city days before its special stage, Sharon Cuneta opted to forego the event, following news of her family members being COVID-19 positive.

In an Instagram post she shared today, November 5, 2022, the Megastar apologized for her absence.
She wrote, "So, so sorry - I truly wish I could’ve gone with my Kapamilya to Las Vegas for the A.S.A.P. special there… Thank you so much for your understanding."
TFC'S STATEMENT
TFC, ABS-CBN's US-based cable TV provider, issued its statement in light of Sharon's absence:
"We regret to announce that Ms. Sharon Cuneta will not be able to perform in ASAP Natin 'To Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena on November 5.
"Some of Sharon's family members have contracted COVID-19. To avoid exposing everyone involved in our production she will stay in Manila and take care of her family.
"Sharon sends her apologies to all her fans who are looking forward to seeing her perform live in ASAP LAS VEGAS.
"We thank everyone for their understanding."
Meanwhile, the current lineup includes the following: Gary Valenciano, Kim Chiu, AC Bonifacio, Bamboo, Belle Mariano, Donny Pangilinan, P-pop groups BGYO and BINI, Donny Pangilinan, EZ Mil, Francisco Martin, Janella Salvador, Jane de Leon, Kyle Echarri, KZ Tandingan, Lovi Poe, Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and more are expected to be there.
