Sa kabila ng mahigit tatlong taong relasyon ni Joseph Marco sa Russian model girlfriend niyang si Dasha Romanova, aminado ang Kapamilya actor na hindi pa nila napag-uusapan ang engagement at pagpapakasal.
33 anyos si Joseph samantalang 25 naman ang Russian model/social media influencer, at ayon sa aktor, marami pa silang pangarap na nais abutin sa kani-kanilang buhay.
Nakapanayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Joseph sa nakaraang contract signing/launching sa kanya bilang pinakabagong Hanford endorser nung nakaraang December 15 na ginanap sa Hanford office sa Arete Square sa Congressional Ave., Quezon City.
Lahad niya, "You know what? To be honest, we don't really feel pressure.
"We don't really plan it. Siguro if ever that's gonna come into our lives, siguro gagawin na lang namin. But right now, she has her dreams and I'm so supportive of her, and siya ganun din sa akin.
"Like I've said, di ko pa nari-reach yung level of success that I want.
"Dumating na ako sa point na I realize that showbiz is just my stepping stone. It's not the whole thing it's not the entire thing.
"Right now, I'm opening myself to businesses and other stuff. I just wanna continue to grow and grow as a person."
Nagkasama sila Joseph at Dasha nung nakaraang Marso nang dumalaw muli sa bansa ang Russian model. Nang kumustahin namin ang tinatakbo ng kanilang relasyon, agad kaming sinagot ng Kapamilya actor na masaya at kuntento siya sa tinatakbo ng relasyon nila ng kasintahan.
Pagmamalaki niya, "Super, super good, she's been so supportive. She's not the showbiz type, she's more of a private person.
"I appreciate that and like I've said, we support each other. She's actually travelling to Korea this January and for us, it's so important for us to grow separately and to focus on her dreams and my dreams. We just support each other and we're super good. Super healthy relationship."
Long-distance relationship ang estado ng relasyon nila Joseph at Dasha kung saan bilang modelo ay pumupunta sa iba't ibang bansa ang Russian model. Para naman sa aktor, hindi hadlang ang distansiya sa relasyon nila ni Dasha.
Saad niya, "When you're young, I guess you always want to be with the person, but when you come to the point of adolescence, you realize that space is so important.
"She's very independent and that's what I like the most. Bilib ako sa mga babae na when they are independent and I can do all the things, with my work without thinking about my girl coz I know she is doing good."
JOSEPH TO PURSUE BUSINESS PLANS
Pahayag din ni Joseph, bukod sa showbiz ay gusto niya ring paunlarin ang kaalaman sa pagnenegosyo.
Aniya, "I handle a few businesses, like laundry shops, restaurants, manpower business. I think in order to be like that, you need to associate yourself with people in the same industry."
JOSEPH PROUD OF NEW ENDORSEMENT CONTRACT
Pormal na ipinakilala bilang bagong endorser ng Hanford, excited si Joseph sa male apparel na ineendorso lalo't pinaghandaan niya ito ng husto.
Pag-amin niya, "I'm so excited! Unang-una, ito ang first underwear endorsement ko.
"I've done few endorsements, but with this one, you know I'm such a health buff. All the things na pinagtratrabahuhan ko, mapapakita ko dito.
"I wanna encourage especially the Filipinos to have a healthy lifestyle, if you look good, you feel good about yourself and it's all about confidence.
"Ever since Probinsyano, I just stopped accepting acting gigs. For the past six months I'm just doing events, out-of-town shows, but that's all about it. I told myself that this is gonna be my first underwear endorsement, so I'm kind of pressured and I really wanna focus and I trained six times a week. I trained and I cooked my own food."
JOSEPH ENJOYING WELL-DESERVED BREAK AFTER PROBINSYANO STINT
Ang Probinsyano ang huling show na ginawa ni Joseph sa Kapamilya network. Marami ang nagtatanong kung napagod daw kaya ang aktor sa taping ng naturang show kaya pinili niya na magpahinga muna sa acting.
Pag-amin niya, "Napagod but it's worth it working with Coco. He's such a brilliant actor, he's such a brilliant person. He's such an inspiration to the point na manliliit ka sa work ethics niya. He's gonna pull you out.
"If people don't see me on TV, it doesn't mean I'm relaxing because I'm not that type. It makes me go crazy if I relax, so I have to constantly do something. Whether it's business matters, whether it's training, whether it's so many things."
JOSEPH ADMITS BEING CHOOSY WITH PROJECTS
Tinanong din si Marco kung ano raw kayang role ang magpapabalik sa kanya sa pag-arte ngayong pinili niya.muna na magpahinga pansamantala.
Sabi niya, "Actually, kahit anong project naman, as long as gusto ko ang content. Ganun naman, e.
"You always ask for the script, you always ask for the concept of the project. Kung anuman yung dumating and I feel like I'm ready, game! I'm game and I feel I'm 100% to give my all, go iyan."
Usung-uso ngayon ang mga sexy, mature and daring movies. Bukas kaya si Joseph kung may mag-alok sa kaniya ng ganitong tema ng pelikula pero dekalidad at puwedeng magbigay sa kanya ng mga awards at pagkilala?
Giit niya, "Like I've said, it really depends, coz ngayon, I'm not really after to get a project.
"I'm after the quality of the project. Ang dami kong tine-turn down ngayon coz I think I'm at this point of my career where I wanna do quality more than quantity."
