Year 2022 has been a busy year for Filipino fans who had attended K-pop concerts and fan meetings in Manila to see their favorite "Oppas."
To those left wanting for more, they can look forward to more in-person events with their favorite Asian acts.
Here, Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) lists some of the South Korean idols as well as Thai stars who are slated to visit the Philippines this 2023.
ITZY
South Korean girl group ITZY is bringing its CHECKMATE world tour to Manila.
On January 14 and 15, 2023, the five-member act is set to do a back-to-back concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
It would be the girls' second time in Manila following their last visit in 2019 when they did their showcase tour ITZY? ITZY!.
Since making their debut in 2019, ITZY established itself as a K-pop group with chart-topping hits such as "Wannabe," "Dalla Dalla," "Mafia In the Morning," "Not Shy," and "Icy."
KIM SOO HYUN
Hallyu star Kim Soo Hyun—who's known for headlining K-drama series My Love From The Star and It’s Okay Not to Be Okay— is up for another show in the Philippines.
Seven months since he last visited the country, the 34-year-old South Korean heartthrob is set to hold a fan meeting at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on January 17, 2023.
Fans can get tickets and freebies by purchasing Dunkin’ Donut bundles corresponding to their preferred seat section.
As for Kim Soo Hyun, he earlier promised his Filipino supporters that he will visit the country more often.
"I will be working very hard so that I come back and come back often, and hope to see you all again soon with good news about projects.
"I’d love to come back and see you all again," he said in the fan meet last June.
STRAY KIDS
South Korean boy group Stray Kids is also visiting Manila.
Stray Kids is comprised of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. They popularized the songs "God’s Menu," "Back Door," "Case 143," and "Maniac."
STAYs, the official fandom name of Stray Kids, will get to see them two months ahead of their scheduled Philippine concert .
The eight-member group, in collaboration with local clothing brand Bench, will be staging a fan meeting on January 20, 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
To avail a free ticket, a minimum purchase must be made at the participating stores of the said local clothing brand.
On March 11 and 12, 2023, the group will be back in the country to do a two-night concert, as part of their Maniac world tour, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
OHM PAWAT AND NANON KORAPAT
Ohm Pawat and Nanon Korapat, the lead stars of the 2021 hit Thai boys’ love series Bad Buddy, are set to bring their first fan meeting in Manila.
Scheduled on January 21, 2023, Ohm and Nanon will finally get to meet their Filipino fans at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura Premier.

In Bad Buddy, Ohm and Nanon portrayed the role of Pat and Pran who both grew up hating each other as a result of their parents’ rivalry.

KIM SEON HO
Breakthrough star Kim Seon Ho will be holding his first-ever fan meeting in the Philippines on January 22, 2023.
The meet and greet, which will happen at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, is part of his One, Two, Three. Smile. Asia Tour.
Kim Seon Ho became a household name after appearing in the hit Korean drama series Start Up.
Although a second lead in the drama, Seon Ho charmed the audience with his effective portrayal of Han Ji Pyeong in the series and this catapulted his career to international stardom.
He starred in a two-person play titled Ice, and then he headlined the heartwarming K-drama Hometown Cha Cha Cha alongside Hallyu star Shin Min Ah in 2021.
Seon Ho's next project would be the South Korean film Sad Tropics.
CHOI MINHO
Filipino Shawols, get ready to wave your lightsticks as Choi Minho is coming to Manila this 2023.
Choi Minho is a member of the popular K-pop group SHINEE.
The South Korean idol will be hosting his solo fan meet, dubbed as 2023 Best Choi’s Minho Lucky Choi’s, on January 28, 2023 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Further details about the fan meeting are yet to be announced by Ovation Productions.
Recently, Minho released his first-ever solo album Chase, and he is also part of the Netflix romantic K-drama The Fabulous.
He last visited the Philippines in 2017 for the One K Global Peace Concert with other SHINee members Key, Taemin, Onew, and Jonghyun. Johnhyun passed away in December 2017.
