Bahagi ng statement, published as is: “At WANTUSAWA, we take customer feedback and reviews very seriously. We always strive to provide freshly prepared meals while adhering to critical safety and health standards.”

“We have addressed each issue in a timely fashion requiring the necessary details in a fair and scientific manner. In fact, laboratory tests conducted on samples for those dates formally complained of have shown a negative result for bacteria and thus clearing the possibility of any food poisoning.”

Sa second to the last paragraph ay binanggit ang "social media bullying" na natanggap ng resto sa kabila ng mga efforts nito.

"It is unfortunate that despite all our efforts, laboratory tests and health clearances, social media bullying against us has continued. In our pursuit of truth and due process, we shall likewise review our options to take any legal action against these purveyors of bullying and untruth."

At press time, may mahigit 5,000 reactions ang posts, mahigit 1,500 comments, at 1,000 shares.

NETIZENS REACT

May ilang netizens na hindi nagustuhan ang pahayag ng resto tungkol sa "social-media media bullying" at plano nito “to take any legal action against these purveyors of bullying and untruth.”

Aniya, “I came from a PR agency and I know this is not how crisis should be managed (sad emoji). You could have at least be empathetic to the customers or at least, offer some resolution.

“You could have stopped at ‘we’re sorry for this inconvenience,’ ‘we’re resolving the matter with our customers who were affected,’ or say that, ‘we’re continuously looking for more ways to improve our food handling/safety’ instead of shifting the highlight on your so-called bullies.”

Pahayag niya (published as is), “My trip to Philippines was destroyed by eating oysters here. I had diarrehea, minor fever, and muscle pain for 2 days which is a half of my trip. Well again, it was also scary to be sick not my home. I recommend all koreans not to go here for SAFETY”

My boyfriend and I experienced food poisoning from eating in your place last Feb 2022.”

“Just wanted to clear that a fecalysis negative for bacteria does not rule out food poisoning since it can be viral. [I am a doctor]”

Bahagi ng kanyang post noong January, 23, 2023: “For public awareness and for the sake of honesty: the food is good but look at all these food poisoning complaints the past three weeks alone. Are all of these still isolated cases?”

TOO MUCH OYSTER, "NOT FOR EVERYONE

May isa ring nagsabi ng Wantusawara remains his "fave oyster bar in Makati."

"Its not for everyone."

Wantusawa complaint and response

FOOD POISONING FROM SHELLFISH
