Things to look forward to at MAMAMOO's first-ever Manila concert

MAMAMOO is coming to Manila to perform for the very first time.

The powerhouse vocal quartet has amazing performances in store for their Filipino MooMoos (Mamamoo's fanbase) on February 12, 2023, at the Araneta Coliseum.

Organized by Wilbros Live, the girl group's first-ever world tour is titled MY CON.

Among their chart-topping songs are "Um Oh Ah Yeh" (2015), "Décalcomanie" (2016), "Yes I Am" (2017), "Starry Night" (2018), "Egotistic" (2018), "gogobebe" (2019), "HIP" (2019), "Dingga" (2020), and "ILLELLA" (2022).

On November 18-20, 2022, the group kickstarted their world tour in Seoul, with three full shows.

To date, they have already completed their concerts in Chiba on November 26-27, 2022; Hong Kong on January 7-8, 2023; Taiwan on January 14, 2023; Jakarta on February 5, 2023; and Singapore on February 8-9, 2023.

Before heading to Manila, they are performing in Kuala Lumpur on February 11, 2023.

WHAT TO EXPECT

All setlists from the Seoul to Singapore legs open with the fun and wacky retro-themed song "1, 2, 3 Eoi!" from their newly released mini album MIC ON, followed by "Mr. Ambiguous 2021," the new version of their debut song "Mr. Ambiguous."

Based on the concerts that have been held so far, at least 35 of MAMAMOO's songs are expected to be performed during the Manila leg.

SOLO PERFORMANCES

A twist is also epxected to happen during the solo performances portion of the concert.

The group's leader Solar and groupmate Wheein are performing each other's song — Solar is set to sing Wheein's song "Water Color," while the latter takes on Solar's song "HONEY."

In the same manner, lead rapper Moonbyul is performing Hwasa's hit song "TWIT," while Hwasa brings her rap game on to Moonbyul's "Eclipse."

The group solo medley is set to start with Solar's "Spit It Out," followed by Wheein's "Make Me Happy," then Moonbyul's "LUNATIC," and finally the TikTok trend "Maria" by Hwasa.

Aside from the performances, Pinoy MooMoos can also look forward to watching a total of four VCRs (videos that play on the screens at concerts) during the concert.

Tickets to MAMAMOO's concert are still available at TicketNet outlets nationwide and online via www.ticketnet.com.ph.

  • VIP B - PHP12,500
  • Patron A - PHP10,500
  • Patron B - PHP8,500
  • Lower Box A - PHP6,500
  • Lower Box B - PHP5,500
  • Upper Box A - PHP4,500
  • Upper Box B - PHP3,500
  • General Admission - PHP2,650

The sound check party is only available for VIP A and VIP B ticket holders, while 700 lucky Moomoos get a chance to attend the send-off party through a random selection.

General admission tickets were only up for sale on December 23, 2022, after the first batch of tickets sold out within 30 minutes.
