Aminado si Quezon City District 1 Representative Arjo Atayde na apektado siya kapag nasasangkot sa isyu ang fiancée niyang si Maine Mendoza.
Sinabi ito ni Arjo nang hingan siya ng reaksiyon tungkol sa tweet ng isang sales associate sa isang retail store sa Singapore na inilarawan si Maine na "suplada sa personal."
Naiulat ang isyu noong January 2023, at nagdepensa si Maine noon na "bastos" at "entitled" ang sales associate kaya sana ay tinarayan na raw niya talaga.

Sabi naman ni Arjo sa paratang na suplada si Maine, "Iba-iba rin. They took it the wrong way.
"I feel bad. Obviously, if it's Maine, I'm affected. She's my fiancée, I'll really be affected.
"But they don't know her. She really means well to everyone. She's really such a kind person."
Bilang fiancé na mas kilala si Maine, inulit ni Arjo na "she didn't mean anything bad to anyone."
Aniya, "If some things happened like that, of course, maaapektuhan ka...Definitely I will defend her. I feel insulted for her and I will feel bad if someone did that to her.
"But obviously, [all I can do is] just be there for her kasi, anyway, at the end of the day, I know she didn't mean anything bad to anyone and she will not mean anything bad to anyone."
Hangga't maaari nga raw sana ay ayaw niyang magsalita sa isyu.
Lalo pa't bilang public figure, naiintindihan din daw niya na, "We'll always be judged. I'm a public servant, I'm judged every day."

arjo ON VACATION TIME WITH MAINE
Bagamat abala sa kani-kanilang trabaho, nakakasingit ng bakasyon abroad sina Maine at Arjo.
Nang magpunta sila sa Europe noong 2022, marami ang natuwa sa larawan ng dalawa habang nakasakay sa ride sa Disneyland sa Paris.
"As a couple, we like going to theme parks, mga adventure rides. It's our thing, e, and individually nagkataon na we both like it.
"Dun sa ride, nanibago ako kasi, imadyinin mo, three years wala tayong mga roller-roller coaster tapos biglang aangat ka nang sobrang taas, e, di nalula ka bigla.
"That's the first time we went to a roller coaster and my expression is really real, talagang sigaw talaga ako."
Kuwento pa ni Arjo, na-enjoy nila ni Maine nang husto ang two-week European trip nila.
"First time kasi namin dun na magkasama. Of course, it's very special, we got to relax.
"Wala rin akong bakasyon from the campaign. Those were the first few times that I was able to go out already and during break naman.
"Hayun, we went to Europe, we enjoyed, food trip lang, ang sarap ng pagkain dun, we just keep eating, hayun.
"Pagdating dun, we went to Amsterdam, Paris, Spain, three places para ma-maximize namin ang pag-iikot.
"Paris is a romatic place, maraming couples. But more than that, there lots of things to do and see, e.
"Si Maine and I, normally si Maine is adventurous. She likes to do things, going around, especially mga food trip."
VALENTINE CELEBRATION IN HONG KONG
Nito namang nakalipas na Valentine's Day, sa Hong Kong naman nagselebra ang magkasintahan.
Sabi ni Arjo: "Sinupresa niya ako, I'm very happy. It's been very busy, I had to attend to something nun Feb. 14.
"I had work. Sila-sila ang nag-ano... My good people in the office, they fixed it.
"Yun po, the only thing I could say is say, yung Hong Kong suprise niya yun, it was fun.
"Sabi ko, 'Paano yung mga travel clearance, but obviously she has her ways of suprising, she's always sweet as always.
"Yun for Valentine's, we celebrate it a day later, but nothing but the best. I really enjoyed."
