Naglabas na ng opisyal na pahayag ang TAPE Inc. hinggil sa pagkalas ng Eat Bulaga! hosts na sina Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, at Joey de Leon.
Ang TAPE Inc. ang producer ng Eat Bulaga!, ang longest-running noontime show ng bansa.
Nitong Huwebes, June 1, 2023, sa pamamagitan ng isang press release, sinabi ng TAPE Inc. na ikinalulungkot man nila ang desisyon ng iconic TV hosts, na umalis na sa "Eat Bulaga and GMA-7 Network" pagkatapos ng 28 taon, ay nirerespeto nila ito.
Nagpasalamat din ang TAPE sa mga naging bahagi ng noontime show—magmula sa mga host, crew, staff, at televiewers.

Mababasa sa kanilang press release (published as is), "TAPE, Inc. is saddened by the turn of events yesterday, May 31 but we respect the decision of the hosts to leave Eat Bulaga and GMA-7 Network, which has been their home for 28 years.
"We are grateful to the men and women who worked tirelessy for the past 43 years to make our noontime show number 1.
"The success of Eat Bulaga is not dependent only on three (3) people but on the collaborate efforts of its talents, crew, and loyal viewers.
"We are happy for the full support of GMA-7 in making Eat Bulaga bigger, to bring more fun and excitement to every Filipino."
(Sa pahayag nina Tito, Vic, at Joey ay mariin nilang sinabi na sa TAPE Inc. sila nagpaalam, at hindi nila binanggit ang mismong programa.)
Nangako rin ang pamunuan ng TAPE Inc., na patuloy silang magbibigay ng saya sa mga manonood kahit wala na ang original hosts ng Eat Bulaga!.
Pahayag nila: "We want to assure the public and the supporters of the show through its segments that we are committed to provide quality entertainment.
"It is unfortunate, but life must go on. As with life, we have to accept changes but we have a duty to every Filipino.
"Abangan ninyo ang mga bagong magpapasaya at magpapatibok ng ating mga puso. Aasahan niyo ang mas masaya, mas nakakaaliw, at HIGIT PA SA ISANG LIBO'T ISANG TUWA na Eat Bulaga."
Dagdag pa ng TAPE, "Patuloy ang Dabarkads na magliligkod para sa inyo, mga Kapuso MULA APARRI HANGGANG JOLO AT SA BUONG PILIPINAS.
"Ang pag-alis ng mga hosts ay hindi dahilan para tumigil ang pag-ikot ng mundo.
"Maraming Salamat!"

Bukod kina Tito, Vic, at Joey, nagsumite na rin ng kanilang resignation ang mga co-host nilang sina Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Allan K, Ryan Agoncillo, Ryzza Mae Dizon, at Maine Mendoza.
Isinumite nila ang kanilang letter of resignation kay Romeo Jalosjos Jr., ang President at CEO ng Television and Production Exponents, Inc.
Kumalas na rin sa TAPE ang buong production staff ng Eat Bulaga!.
