The legendary Filipino 1990s band Eraserheads is currently in the middle of its USA and Canada concert tour.
The series of shows are a continuation of the Huling El Bimbo reunion concert that took place here in the Philippines, at the SMDC Festival Grounds, on December 22, 2022.

However, it was not just Ely Buendia (vocals, guitar), Marcus Adoro (guitar), Buddy Zabala (bass), and Raymund Marasigan (drums), and the fans, who are on a nostalgia trip.
The band members, apparently, got a big surprise during their show at the First Ontario Centre, Hamilton in Ontario, Canada.
At the backstage, they had a reunion with Rowena Basco, popularly known to fans as the actress in the band's "Ang Huling El Bimbo" music video released in 1996.
"Remember that girl?"
The special moment was captured by former General Luna guitarist and audio engineer, Audry Dionisio.
"Remember that girl in the El Bimbo music video? It's her!" Audry wrote as a caption in the photo posted in her IG Stories.
The photo showed Rowena flanked by some members of the concert team, Ely and his managers Day Cabuhat and Diane Ventura, and Buddy.
Audry also posted a photo of Rowena with just Ely and Buddy.
ICONIC SONG AND VIDEO
Written by Ely, "Ang Huling El Bimbo" was included in the Eraserheads' best-selling album, Cutterpillow, released in 1995 by BMG Records (Pilipinas), Inc.
Picked by the label as a single, the band shot a music video to help promote the song beyond radio.
The music video was directed by Auraeus Solito and filmed in Sampaloc, Manila.
Rowena, who portrayed the adult lead female character in the video, was a theater actress.
She already appeared in the movie Buhay ng Buhay Ko in 1994 before her stint with the band at the "Ang Huling El Bimbo" music video.
Rowena would later be seen in the movies Angels (2001) and Pisay (2007), among others.
"Ang Huling El Bimbo" would become arguably the Eraserheads' biggest and most popular song.
The song's music video won the Eraserheads International Viewer's Choice Awards for Asia at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards.
All four members accepted the trophy during the awarding ceremony held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, USA.
