Just like her iconic character in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, South Korean actress Park Eun Bin brought a lot of good vibes as she faced the Philippine press ahead of her fan meet this Saturday, June 24, 2023.
Looking pretty in her pastel-colored frock, Park Eun Bin was ready with her newly learned Tagalog words like "mabuhay" and "bongga" to emphasize her excitement to be back in Manila.
She was just here October of last year, and she returned courtesy of her endorsement for beauty brand Aromagicare and Wilbros Live. The presser was held at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila earlier this afternoon.
"Nung last year na bumisita ako sa Philippines, hindi ko in-expect na ganun kadaming fans ang nandun sa airport. Hindi ko na-greet ang fans noon," said Park Eun Bin through the help of her Korean-Filipino translator.
"This time, andami pumunta sa airport, na-greet ang fans ko dun."
She previously visited Cebu, so would like to go to Boracay for leisure if given a chance.
Talking about her ideal vacation, Park Eun Bin added. "Gusto ko maglangoy at kumain ng Filipino foods at makakita ng mga magandang sands.
"Ayoko maglipat-lipat ng ibang lugar. Gusto ko mag-stick sa isang spot at mag-chill lang."

ON SUCCESS OF HER ROLE AS ATTorney WOO
Park Eun Bin headlined several K-drama series like Do You Like Brahms? (2020), where she played a music student who struggles to catch up with talented violinists, and The King's Affection, where she played a princess who was forced to disguise as her dead brother, who happens to be the king, in order to keep the crown.
But it was in Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022) that Park Eun Bin made waves as a brilliant lawyer who had to prove her worth among colleagues even as she struggles with autism.
At the Manila presscon, Park Eun Bin told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) how thankful she is to her Filipino fans for helping her win the Daesang Award or Grand Prize for Drama at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Through her translator, she said: "Dahil ang daming support ng fans, siyempre kasama po ang Filipino fans, gusto nila maka-receive ako ng popularity award, so alam kong pinaghirapan talaga ng clique ng mga fans.
"Na-touch po talaga ako sa fans na nag-support sa akin. Pero masaya ako kasi pinagbigay ko po talaga yung grand prize para sa fans ko.
"During that Daesang Award, narinig ko yung ang lakas ng sigawan. And nakita ko yung reaction video ng fans nung na-receive ko yung award.
"Doon ko rin nakuha yung energy na magkasama rin tayo nung na-receive ko yung grand award na yun."
ON HER HAPPIEST MOMENT
The Korean actress went on to say that it was really a big deal for her to win the top prize at the 59th Baeksang Awards since is not often given to an indivual star.
She confirmed that it's a dream come true for her.
"First of all, gusto ko po sabihin kung anong meaning talaga na ma-receive yung grand prize sa Baeksang.
"Ang Baeksang meaning, pinag-compile lahat ng awardees in korea. Hindi lang yun drama, may kasamang music, movie, variety show, lahat-lahat na.
"Narinig ko kasi yung grand prize halos napupunta sa mga project mismo. Last year, Squid Game ang nanalo nung grand prize," said Park Eun Bin, referring to the hit K-action drama headlined by an ensemble cast.
"This year, hindi yung Extraordinary Attorney Woo yung nag-receive, na-receive ko as Park Eun Bin kaya sobrang malaking bagay sa akin.
"Kaya as an artist, medyo bago pa rin ako, kaya sobrang malaking bagay sa akin na ma-receive yung grand prize."

ON HOW SHE DEALS WITH CHALLENGES
Park Eun Bin also shared that she is not the type of actress who has a long-term goal, but that she takes each challenge one day at a time.
"Every moment is a challenge for me. Kapag natapos na yung mga ginagawa ko, dun ko nalalaman na, 'Ah, one of the challenges pala ito para sa akin.'
"Kasi my mom taught me na huwag ka maghintay ng birthday. Isipin mo na lang every day ay birthday mo.
"Kaya iniisip ko sa sarili ko every day ay blessing sa akin kaya special po every day para sa akin.
"Kapag sabihin ko kung ano ang the best moment, puwede ko sabihin na the best moment is this.
"Pero in general, gusto ko sabihin the best moment was when I received the grand prize."
At the end of the presscon, Park Eun Bin invited everyone to join her fan meet at the Kia Theater in Quezon City this Saturday night.
"Gusto ko makuha at ma-absorb lahat ng positive energy from Filipino fans. Babalik ako sa Korea para makahanap ako ng magandang project para ipakita sa inyo.
"Alam ko rainy season ngayon sa Philippines. Stay dry. I hope babalik ako dito sa Manila in a good moment.
"Be healthy always. Sana makakuha tayo ng magagandang memorya. Mahal ko kayo!"
