The Philippines is full of creatives. Companies around the world source some of their best talents right from the Philippines, thanks to our reputation as artists, designers, and content creators. So imagine our crushing disappointment when the new PAGCOR logo was unveiled.

We've got high standards-as we should. Filipino designers and artists are behind some of the best animated films and advertising companies in the world. We can do better.

So... we did.

A few netizens took it upon themselves to give the PAGCOR logo a much-needed facelift. And the results were definitely a level up. The best part? They weren't even paid P3 million for it.

Let's see the results, shall we?

Level 1. This designer opted to keep the viral logo's odd shape but thankfully fixed that awful gradient.

Level 2. This designer stayed within the "flames" theme but with a few adjustments that made it all the better. Now we're getting somewhere.

Level 3. Simplicity is key, according to this designer. Look at those clean lines and subtle gradients. Ehem, PAGCOR take notes.

Level 4. Why not get rid of the damn gradient altogether? This designer's redesign even added the element of infinity. Like the government's budget.

Level 5. This agency avoided the gradient altogether and flipped the flames for more balance. Look what happens when you adopt basic design elements.
