Nang magdesisyon si Liza Soberano na subukan ang showbiz career sa Hollywood, ito na rin ang hudyat ng pagkakabuwag ng tambalang LizQuen or Liza Soberano-Enrique Gil loveteam.
Ikinasama rin ng loob ng masusugid na fans ng loveteam ang naging pahayag ni Liza na masyado siyang kinulong sa loveteam nila ni Enrique at di na siya nabjgyan ng pagkakataong makipagtrabaho sa ibang mga aktor na makakatulong daw sana sa pag-unlad niya bilang isang artista.
Sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa nakaraang Ticket2Me media conference na ginanap sa Modern Table sa Capitol Commons noong nakaraang July 14, agad naming tinanong si Enrique kung nakakaramdam ba siya ng takot o pag-aalinlangan na ngayon ay ipu-push na siya bilang isang solo actor at wala na sa anino ng LizQuen loveteam?
Lahad niya, "Well, I started as a solo actor naman talaga, e.
“I mean, nag-King of the Gil na ako, nag-Araneta na ako, wala pa akong loveteam."
King of the Gil ang pamagat ng major concert ni Enrique Gil na ginanap sa Araneta Coliseum noong November 29, 2013.
Dagdag niya, “I’m used to it, there's nothing new about it. Nag-take off lang talaga nung nagka-loveteam kami ni Liza, but even before Liza, I was the King of the Gil, right?"
Sa hanay ng mga aktres natin sa ngayon, may napipisil kaya si Enrique na gusto niya sanang makasama sa isang proyekto tulad ng pelikula o serye?
Saad niya, "Anybody, ako wala naman akong pinipili. Kung sinuman ang bagay sa role, ayoko na yung ika-cast lang dahil sikat yan. I really want a cast that's perfect for the role."
Matagal nang bali-balita na gagawa daw ng project ang aktor sa GMA-7. Hindi naman ito tinanggi ni Enrique.
"Possibly. Yes po, open ako sa lahat," paninigurado niya.
QUEN PONDERS SHOWBIZ LEGACY
Sa presscon proper ng Ticket2Me mediacon, nabanggit ni Enrique na nung panahon ng pandemic ay marami siyang realizations sa buhay, gaya ng kahalagahan ng pamilya, higit sa pera o kasikatan.
Ayon kay Enrique, ang kagustuhan niya na mag-iwan ng legacy sa industriya ang dahilan kung bakit siya muling bumalik sa showbiz.
Makahulugan niyang pahayag, "Deep in my heart, di ko puwedeng iwanan na lang ang entertainment industry na wala man lang akong naiiwan na legacy.
“Kailangan may maiiwan ako na kahit wala na ako, nandun pa rin ako in a way. Giving content through movies, TV series na kahit di na ako ang artista dun, basta it's my production company creating content and stories for the people who watch, maybe onscreen or on the stage.
“I used to perform a lot sa mga concerts ko dati, dancing, performing all over the world. I'm getting older, I'm gonna make it in such a way na kahit di na ako mismo yung performer, I'll still be able to give content, shows to people; not only on fans but fans ng lahat ng mga colleagues ko sa industry for international acts and everything.
"I want to give entertainment even though di na ako nagpe-perform on stage or onscreen, kaya nga I created my production company, heto naman yung ticketing company namin.
“I think if the future or my time's up performing, I would still be able to provide entertainment and content for all Filipinos and all the fans."
QUEN’S COMPANY REINVENTS THE TICKETING EXPERIENCE
Sa ngayon nga ay pinasok na rin ni Enrique ang corporate world.
Siya ngayon ang Chief Marketing Officer ng Ticket2Me, ang fastest growing ticketing, experience technology company sa bansa.
Pagmamalaki ni Quen, "Ticket2Me is a ticketing company. Basically, we are also creating events more than anything.
“It's going to make things easier for consumers, ayaw naming ma-experience nila yung ticketing hassles sa concerts kasi napakahirap.
“I speak from experience, because I’ve had my share of hassles from most of the concerts—local or foreign—that I’ve gone to.
“This time, I think it's gonna be a breeze for all the consumers who will be using our website to get their tickets.
“Everything is gonna be digital—they go to the website, get their tickets, go there to the venue na wala na silang pi-pickup-in, nasa phone na nila. Pupunta lang sila sa venue, scan, pasok na kaagad.
Binahagi pa ni Enrique ang hirap na pinagdaanan nung nanood siya ng concert ng BTS sa Hongkong.
Kuwento niya, "Yeah, I was at a BTS concert a couple of years ago sa Hongkong. It was really hard. First, there’s the issue of getting the tickets, and then the whole experience of getting in the stadium.
“From the pila tapos holding your ticket, then pupunitin nila, ika-count pa nila so medyo matagal talaga yung proseso hanggang makarating ka mismo sa event.
“So, with Ticket2Me, it's going to be digital, it's gonna be such a breeze, it's such an easy experience, punta lang sila dun sa scan, we’re gonna have two hundred scanners. Yung entrance mo di lang isa, dalawa, tatlo, so it's really good."
QUEN EXCITED ABOUT NEW VENTURE AS MOVIE PRODUCER
Bukod dito ay may nakalinya nang gagawing mga pelikula si Enrique at isa rito ay ang I Am Not Big Bird, na co-production ng ABS-CBN, Black Sheep at Anima. Masaya ang aktor dahil kungdi nila konsepto ay may ambag sila sa produksyon.
Aniya, "I'm super excited, it's our production company as well. Almost all of our projects right now either concept namin or we work closely together with the scripts and everything.
“It's a co-production of our production company. It's good, di lang ako artista ngayon, I'm a producer na rin. It's a good thing, I think it's me going up as well as my career.”
QUEN’S MESSAGE TO LOYAL FANS
Sa huli ay nagbigay ng mensahe si Enrique sa mga solid Enrique fans na di talaga bumitaw sa kanya anuman ang nangyari.
Sabi niya, "For the fans, maraming-maraming salamat po. Ever since, from the beginning hanggang kahit wala ako, you guys still love me, support me and dahil diyan, you guys are the best fans in the whole world.
“I'm excited for everything, hope to see everyone soon either on screen or sa mga events namin."
