Actress Lovi Poe is engaged to longtime British boyfriend Monty Blencowe.
While she has made no secret of their relationship, the Kapamilya actress managed to keep their engagement under wraps "for a couple of years" until she finally revealed it on August 8, 2023.
Skipping the typical fanfare when announcing an engagement, Lovi simply posted a throwback video of a view of the sunrise by the beach plus two miniature mugs of espresso shots that she and Monty shared on that morning he proposed to her.
She also showed a video of her wearing the huge emerald-cut diamond ring that Monty gave her.
Her caption read: "We’ve shared and celebrated this moment quietly with our family and closest friends, so we’re now more than happy to share this sweet #lifeupdate with you."

Lovi didn't mention the exact date when she got engaged, but it would seem it happened while she was on vacation in Los Angeles, California, some three years ago.
It was around Christmas day in year 2020 (morning of December 26 Philippine time) when she posted an Instagram Story of her fun bonding with Monty's nieces at his posh LA home.
In the same IG Story, Lovi was seen wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring with a big diamond on her left ring finger.
She was also seen wearing an emerald-cut diamond ring in November 2022.
At the moment, Lovi is on vacation at Monty's hometown Brighton, a seaside town in the Southern coast of England (less than two hours from London by train).
A report by PEP Troika on August 9, 2023, said that Lovi asked for a month-long break from her ongoing Kapamilya serye Batang Quiapo, hazarding a guess about her and Monty marrying during this trip.

June 2019: Instagram Official
Lovi met Monty through a common friend during one of her trips to Los Angeles, California.
The very first time she launched their relationship on Instagram was when they attended the Royal Ascot in June 2019.
An annual horse racing event in Ascot, Berkshire, England, The Royal Ascot offers ticket entries as well as by-invitation-only access to specific areas in the vast venue.
Dressed in their formal wear, Lovi introduced Monty to her IG followers as her "Hat date to the races."
Monty has been based in LA for most of his adult life, but Brighton in the United Kingdom remains to be his hometown.

August 2019: Manila visit
In August 2019, Lovi brought Monty to "some of the Philippines' finest" beach getaways during his trip here to visit her.
One of their photos showed them enjoying a private meal on a yacht in Samal Island in Davao City.

DECEMBER 2019: CHRISTMAS BREAK IN LA
Lovi and Monty managed to spend time with each other several times a year, keeping their long-distance romance forever in bloom.
During Christmas of 2019, Lovi took a break from work and flew to Los Angeles to be with Monty.
They went on romantic dinner dates to catch up for lost time.
On New Year's Eve at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Lovi flaunted her toned body in a backless long dress with thigh-high slit, while Monty looked dashing in his suit and tie.
The couple also got to see an NBA match between Clippers versus Knicks, with Lovi's preferred team as the winner that day.

When not together, Lovi would chase away the blues by looking through her photos with Monty.

In April 2020, Lovi posted on Instagram a photo of her and Mony taken at the F.R.I.E.N.D.S. studio tour in Manhattan, New York.
Lovi described her boyfriend in her caption as a "shy guy" by nature but always game to take souvenir photos with her.

OCTOBER 2020: MORE SWEET PHOTOS WITH MONTY
Every now and then, Lovi would share some of her throwback sweet moments with Monty on social media such as this one taken during a sunshiny day most likely in Los Angeles—with him looking lovingly at her, his arm around her.
The two also love spending time at the beach whenever they have a chance to be together.
DECEMBER 2020: BACK IN LA
On December 27, 2020, back in LA, Lovi showed a photo of her opening Christmas gifts in the living room of Monty's house.
Her holiday vacation ending soon, Lovi shared this photo on January 10, 2021, which captured the two of them making the most of their last moments together.
JUNE 2021: MID-YEAR VACATION IN THE U.S.
But Lovi didn't have to wait a long time before seeing Monty again.
By June 2021, as seen in the photo, she was again lounging at his LA digs with big picture windows showing off the beautiful view of the surrounding neighborhood by the hilltop.
Lovi's caption described her quiet moment to stay in, read a book, and enjoy a cup of coffee with Monty's monogram on it.

OCTOBER 2020: HALLOWEEN IN THE U.K.
From October to November 2021, Lovi was in the U.K. for the filming of the international movie The Chelsea Cowboy.
Of course she was joined by Monty and in between her shooting days, they enjoyed reading books at cafes, walking a pet dog named Tyson, and wandering around the charming spots in Brighton and London.
Lovi also went on a 1920's-themed Halloween date with Monty at the Grand Hotel in Brighton.
USHERING A NEW YEAR TOGETHER: JANUARY 2022
After taking a lot of trips in 2021 for work, Lovi flew to LA for what seemed to be a month-long vacation.
One of her photos with Monty was of the two of them on a date night.

In September 2022, she went on a trip to the U.K. and stayed again at Monty's hometown in Brighton.

He graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science from the King's College in London, took a masteral degree in Physiological Sciene at the UCLA from 2017-2019, and finished his doctorate degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Integrative Physiology in the same university from 2019-2022.
His bio shows him to be a consistent top student from his college years to his post-grad studies where he got a grade of 4.0.
Still acording to his linkedin profile, Monty has experience in real estate as well as film finance/production, which explains why he has a few films (Heist, The Prince, Marauders) credited under his name on IMDB.
His credentials also showed that he's a producer for C'est Lovi Productions since August 2022. C'est Lovi Productions is a film company owned by Lovi.
