Kapuso actress Carla Abellana posted a short clip on Saturday, August 13, 2023, on Instagram where she revealed one of the hardest lessons she learned in life.
Wearing a yellow top, Carla said smilingly, “One of the hardest lessons in life is to forgive someone who was never truly sorry."
Carla did not elaborate further and the video abruptly stopped after she answered the question.
NOT READY FOR LOVE
In a recent interview with the entertainment press, including PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Carla talked about the possibility of falling in love again.

Carla was once married to actor and long-time boyfriend Tom Rodriguez.

Their marriage was short-lived, and both parties are mum about the reasons behind the split.
Tom is currently in the States, while Carla went on with her showbiz career and was last seen on GMA-7's science fantasy series, Voltes V: Legacy.
"Ayoko nang mag-asawa, nabanggit ko na iyan. Ayoko na, sa totoo lang," Carla told the reporters.

She continued, "Pero sa buhay, tingnan ninyo na lang, nothing is certain. Sinasabi nating ayaw o gusto natin, pero may mga bagay na nangyayari na hindi natin inaasahan.
"Di ko siya pipilitin, di ko siya hahanapin, pero kung dumating, welcome siya sa akin
"Ayoko din namang magmatigas, ayoko din naman nun.
"Pero sa ngayon, sarado na siya, pati pinto, pati windows, pati bakod sarado."
NO RESENTMENT
When asked about the qualities she's looking for in a partner, Carla replied, "Basta mabait, basta totoo, honest, maalaga, at may takot sa Diyos."
Carla said that she has moved on, and part of that process was acceptance and finding in her heart to let go.
"Pangit ang nagbibitbit ka ng anger, resentment, bitterness kasi ikaw pa rin ang talo pag dala-dala mo yun," she mused.
"Okay lang naman na di siya madaliin. It takes time, di siya agad na-a-acquire. Yang forgiveness, medyo matagal na proseso, di pinipilit.
"Forgiveness is for you or for yourself, not for whoever should be given your forgiveness."
