Nobody likes freeloaders — and even Megastar Sharon Cuneta admits that she's had enough of 'feeling entitled' friends, fans and netizens.
“Tuwing magkakaconcert ako, pinakasumasakit ang ulo ko hindi sa gagawin ko sa show, kundi sa dami ng humihingi ng complimentary o libreng tickets!”
This was what Sharon Cuneta wrote on Instagram on Friday, August 18, 2023, pertaining to requests for free tickets for her upcoming concert with ex-husband Gabby Concepcion.
The reunion concert titled "Dear Heart" will happen on October 27, 2023, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
The concert will see the former reel and real-life couple performing songs from their hit movies.
They will also perform songs from their individual careers, as well as their own personal favorites.
The concert's title is taken from the 1981 movie Dear Heart, which jumpstarted the phenomenal Sharon-Gabby love team.
SUPPORTING FRIENDS
Sharon stressed that she only has a limited number of complimentary tickets to give away.
The Megastar also joked that she would be left with nothing from her talent fee if she gives in to all requests from fans, friends, and acquaintances.
“Sa totoo lang po, ang aga naubos ng tickets ko! ‘Pag ako pa bumili, baka si Gabby na lang ang kumanta dahil mauubos ang sweldo ko sa kakalibre,” lamented Sharon.
For her part, Sharon proudly stated that she makes it a point to purchase concert tickets of friends and colleagues (for their respective shows) to show her all-out support.
“Kaya nagpapasalamat po ako sa lahat ng friends at family members ko na ‘di na ako iniistorbo at kusang bumibili ng tickets nila,” wrote Sharon.
“Pasensya na po at nagta-trabaho lang ang girl niyo! Kung pwede lang ilibre ko lahat kayo, pero syempre ‘di ko kaya.
